Danke
I doubt it would look good if 30 SCARs were stolen at gun point. Career going all right, career stops!
rws591
I doubt it would look good if 30 SCARs were stolen at gun point. I wouldn't mind if I got one.

Pkekyo-Nor
medic23 is correct, that NVG mount is something entirely different, never seen one like it before. Hi-res photo: http://news.soc.mil/releases/News%20Archiv...A-6095H-730.jpg
reaper16
more like career is suddenly erased
medic23
ok for the mag thing, on AFN they had a piece about the whole thing, apparently they fast roped and "attacked and overrun an Objective, then eliminated antoher target with a pack howitzer" also the odd helmet mount is a new norotos mount for the new NVG mix of PVS 14 (gen 3) and FLIR, basically it can see through smoke, dust, etc Rangers are using them in Afghanistan
Wrench Bender
Are those pvs21's.... http://www.specwargear.com/images/nightvision-pvs21-3.jpg
medic23
nah they were totally tan, NOT FDE (for highspeed1) and looked like a mix of pvs 14 and a sideways binocular EDIT found em; the AN-PSQ-20 ENVG http://www.nightvision.com/products/milita..._psq20-ENVG.htm

Titleist
Sorry to make this public. But a few gear sellers I know alerted me to someone trying to sell an RBSS. This alone isn't all that special, but they are trying to use my pictures of MY vest in the sale. I just want to alert you guys that this is shady as hell, and if I find it's from one of the Arnie's members I'll definitely bring this to the higher mods.
Billy Bob the Sniper
Wait you actually posted picture of your load out? hehe Hope you get the scum bag. I just placed an order with flyye for abunch of RG gear, I have my PCUs on the way... I am very excited. I just gotta get me a one hole norotos.
superhobo
Not quite ranger yet. Still need a respective brain bucket, proper pouches, and stuff like that, but at least I got the msot expensive parts down already.
Titleist
Umm, honestly, I'd let this bake a LOT LONGER. Besides a PCU jacket this looks as close to a ranger rig as I am a ballerina. Not to go off on a rant here. But the quality of posts in general has severely dropped off lately. One of the things I appreciated about this thread was that posts weren't always common but when they happened it was quality posts. Lately this has turned in to a duplicate of the SEAL thread. Stupid posts, pointless debates, and rigs that look like someone put about a weeks worth of effort in to their ######. I'm not trying to be defensive, but honest to god, did I not get the memo that we were officially lowering the bar in this thread? Because I didn't get it. The ratio of signal to noise is severely skewed in the wrong direction. This used to be a prime example of GREAT load out threads.
Hispeed1
Good start SuperH0b0. May I suggest an M4 or M4 CQBR? Along with a replica MICH 2000 with accesories and de-bloused pants. Check out Titleists' pics for some great ideas. @ Medi23:
Wrench Bender
I thought all Rangers wore AEX hats..... man I am so let down.
Titleist
I wouldn't even say this is a good start. Definitely not ready for posting. You got some PCU, and some ACU. Everything else looks absolutely wrong. Sorry man, this just looks really...not so good.
zarda999
Okay here is what to change . . . -Ditch ALL current pouches get some TT RG (shingle and small zippered GP) or best yet some EI RG items (If you are cheap get some Pantac RG) -Ditch the holster and sidearm. Though you may play with it on this is going to be judged as an impression. Take the photos with out (insert impression name here) gear. -Get a haircut. The hair is way too long for an impression such as this. If you REALLY want to look the part get it buzzed "high and tight". -Change out the front end of your gun to a KAC style RIS and ditch the Noviske flashhider. Get a decent optic such as an Aimpoint or ACOG repro. -Get rid of the first line. Only ranger officers and specialists (snipers and SAW gunners, maybe medics) would carry carry a sidearm. Without a sidearm there is no need to have a first line. -Unless you want to spend a fortune get a set of COMTAC II repros as a substitute for the SORDINs. Devil's Details: -Get boot bands (correct name?) to blouse your boots properly. -Maybe a multitool on your belt for quick access? -Repro MBITR unless you want to find a Marconi(sp?) radio. The TS one is now stocked at ASGI so you could stroll down there and get one though I would recommend getting the newer Spartan Imports model as it is MUCH more sturdy. -Some frag pouches from EI and some "deactivated" Baseball Grenades. You can PM Sgt.Kinnard on making them as realistic as possible within the law of These United States. -Maybe a fake PVS-14 on that MICH? -IR chemlights -Petzel Headlamp on the MICH as well. Issiac's write up (for those who have a HUGE wallet or live near a base ): http://www.teamsnafu.org/articles/75thranger.php Hope I helped -Ryan
binarypunisher
High and tight is SO 4 years ago for Rangers...and you are fine without an MBITR - not everyone has them.
superhobo
Ok, obviously I jumped the gun way too quick. Either way, there's not going to be much I can do about it, whats said has already been said. Anywho Okay here is what to change . . . -Ditch ALL current pouches get some TT RG (shingle and small zippered GP) or best yet some EI RG items (If you are cheap get some Pantac RG) -Ditch the holster and sidearm. Working on it, I dont know how I ended up with all paraclete SG gear on my vest, but eventually, Ill cycle it all out for EI. 2. Sounds like an easy fix to me 3. Yeah I get that alot. Ill add that to my list 4. I can probably get a hold of one(KAC rail) pretty quick. I have a 14.5 barrel extension laying around somewhere, I think that would like a tad better. 5. yeah, sounds like an easy fix to me 6. Where can I get such a set? Are these any good: http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?cPa...roducts_id=1865 I know its ebaybanned, so they are pretty bad quality. If I did get a set Id probably use it on the field also(not just for an impression), so long as it does its job, it should be ok. Details: 1. these things?: http://www.omahas.com/product_info.php?products_id=314 2. Either on a belt, or up near my admin. 3. Maybe.... 4. so some frag pouches are on my list. Do I really need fake grenades? They're just pics, you wont be able to see whats inside. I could just use tennis balls or something 5. Yeah, sounds good. Since its basically just a piece of plastic, I way as well get a cheap one. Where can I find a fairly low priced fake PVS-14? 6. sure 7. Like this?: http://www.backcountry.com/store/PTZ0100/P...&mv_pc=r126 Or is there a specific model to get, that Im unaware of? Thanks for the help
zarda999
The EBB COMTAC IIs are decent and they can be changed if hey don't work. ASGI also has one if ya take a stroll down the street. Yeah those are boot bands . You can use tennis balls if ya want (thats what I use at my field ) I want a PVS 14 too so I dunno there was a link on wannabe awhile ago . .. but I was banned This one is the cheapest. http://elitefirearmsandtacticalsupply.com/...mp;currency=USD ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A REPRO PVS-14? -Ryan
D0LCE
what year are you going for ? thats going to determine how much you got wrong. -Ditch the holster and sidearm. Though you may play with it on this is going to be judged as an impression. Take the photos with out (insert impression name here) gear. side arm should be an m9 with that rlcs hoslter attached to a blackhawk rigger belt -Get a haircut. The hair is way too long for an impression such as this. If you REALLY want to look the part get it buzzed "high and tight". if you want to look like your from 1993 sure get a high and tight -Change out the front end of your gun to a KAC style RIS and ditch the Noviske flashhider.
