The gloves, ACU, Helmet, the rig and gun is all SF like to me.

Any proof on it being a PMC?

Again, many DoD contractors are required to wear UCP with 'DoD Contractor' service tapes. This is to make them easily identifiable, so in the event of an emergency, they'll be pretty much on the first plane out.

Also, as, Agent Hunk said, looking different is deadly.

He's not British either, I don't know where you guys got that from.

//Edit: In fact, here's the caption:

British Paratroopers Search For Weapons In Southern Afghanistan

SALAVAT, AFGHANISTAN - JULY 1: An unidentified U.S. citizen from Dallas, TX., working as a civilian contractor advising the U.S.-led Task Force Paladin, aims his rifle during an operation to search three compounds and look for weapons on July 1, 2008 in Salavat, Panjawi Province, Afghanistan. The 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment conducted a joint operation with Canadian-led Task Force Kandahar, U.S.-led Task Force Paladin, Afghan National Army (ANA) and Afghan National Police ANP) in the village of Salavat in the Province of Panjawi to search three compounds, of which one was a mosque, to seize weapons and fight against the Taliban. According to the military, during the operation about 10 Taliban were killed and 200lbs of explosives confiscated. (Photo by Marco Di Lauro/Getty Images)

If I had to guess, he's a HTS Contractor.

Anyone used a man purse in game?

18 hour straight operation coming up and I was playing with the idea of carrying extra stuff in a BHI battle bag.

I use one as a med kit. If you adjust it right, it'll seem as if it weren't there... til you fall on it and feel something cushion your fall. :P Hopefull, you'll have something more durable than med supplies and won't break anything. <_<

Oh. and another thing is that it can be a bit of a hassel taking it off.

i use one all the time, extra mags, pyro, snacks ,spare batterys etc..

its always pretty close, i use a variant of the bhi bag, with the map case/lid cut off for easy dumping/grabbing. not much cop if your fully armoured though, can be a bit cumbersome getting in and out of vehicles etc..

I usually find it best at night, with the rest of the rig stripped off or right down.

Was looking to keep spare ammo, food, water, and some other minor bits it and and having it hang over the rear of my belt kit. But I think it will flop around too much to be practical...

They have a waist strap on them so they dont flap around too much but they are quite bulky. I usually use mine on long games as a dead zone bag or for summer/night games when I dont want to wear lots of gear.

I use my replica Proteus to keep spare mags, BBs, food, water, sunscreen at OPs with defined FOBs and such. I bring it out on the field with me, and leave it at the FOB for retrieval. On one occasion I have had to switch to a backup weapon (different mag system than my primary), so I ditched my plate carrier and went out with just the man-purse. Worked great, not as convenient, but it worked for what I needed it for out in the field when I didn't want to take the time to change out all the mags.

Looks pretty solid from my perspective. As for the weapons pick, I recommend the AK/1911 combination.

Although you might want to consider a lighter top. My general experience is that fleece gets increasingly hot, especially with hard plates on.

My loadout as a reference.

With regards to the bag thing, I used a replica SO Tech Go-bag a while ago. Was actually really good, was loaded up with water, lunch and ammo. The great thing I like about it is that the main strap (there is only one) has a really big chunky quick detach clip.

So I can be running/walking along, and as soon as I need to respond to something or get somewhere quickly, I ditch the bag in a second and I am free to move.

Weapons wise I'd go with a Glock and an M4 or AK, if you look at most PMCs operating in Iraq (by far the largest theatre for contracters) then most of them are working contracts which give them access to a certain set of weapons. Examples: Blackwater and ArmourGroup both ran M4s on their contracts. In the immediate aftermath of the invasion of Iraq most PMCs were setting up their operations, and therefore had limited access to official sources of weapons so were buying weapons from local sources hence the choice of AKs. As soon as people started getting official contracts, access to official sources became possible.

I know that this might seem obvious, but you need to think about what particular theatre of operations you're operating in, what type of contract you have (convoy escort, close protection, factility security etc.) and then tailor weapons and kit accordingly.

With regard to the Cheytac - nice weapon - but I doubt that it would be used for anything other than facility security/counter sniper; but I've seen no photos to suggest that it's been used by PMCs as it's quite bulky.

I did some searching around in the gear section and all the previous PMC threads and was unable to find any info on this, so I figured I'd ask...

Has anyone here had any experience with the BattleLab AK47 Low Vis. Rack LV6?

---> http://www.diamondbacktactical.com/BattleL...V6-P798C90.aspx

It looks to me like a great simple rig for a PMC loadout but my only concern is my size. Being 5'7" and 125lbs I'm a pretty small guy and it seems like a lot of tactical gear these days is made for larger people. So I'm not too keen on dropping $120 on a rig without finding out if it would even fit me properly first.

So I'm wondering, anyone have any experience with this BattleLab LV6 rig?
