Special Forces Civilian/PMC Loadouts

Misfit

Recommended Posts

Ive seen PMC in trucks use overly bulky stuff (Like M16A3s with Heatshields and thump-guns) Id still replace it with a nice dump :P

Love the 'stachs guys. Perfect for PMC stuff.

ANYONE LOOKING TO BY LA POLICE GEAR OPERATOR PANTS FOR A PMC IMPRESSION. BUY A SIZE OR TWO MORE THEN YOUR 5.11 PANTS. Mine where way to small. All caps ftw. I know it says on the site, but my 5.11s seemed loose enough.

My WIP

-Need a leg holster for the Sig.

-Need to change out the top and the hat for solid colors

-Need my own M4

I know the MOLLE II stuff isn't exactly kosher but I've seen a few guys with some bits and its practically flooded the surplus market for cheap. I'll replace them if I find a deal on CB pouches. Also going to replace the shemagh when I find a better one. I wanted to avoid the tacti-cool colored ones because it seems most guys get authentic ones, in country.

With that nice house in the background, you look more like VIP protection than convoy escort.

Or facility protection even - the BW seige in Najaf comes to mind from those pics (due to the rooftop location really).

However the M4 modded to look like a Mk18 implies NSW, and the AN/PEQ is not widely seen within the PMC community (one of the Kazai PMC details did use them though - DynaCorp IIRC).

Hehehe! Got a keen eye bro. I'm actually doing an impression of a PMC guarding the official residence of an oil magnate. Thanks for the comment bro! :D

Thanks for the info atomicaardvark! I thought that the the PSDs of Karzai were SEALs. Are they really contractors?

@ vigo3000

I like your loadout bro! Simple yet rugged! hahaha!

Got a kitlist? ^_^

Blackwater HRC

<pictures snipped>

Not how i would build my gear today but im happy with the pictures.

Very nice - possibly some of the finest I have seen in a long time. I especially like the HSGI 'Satch there. My loadout is very similar, only adapted for the summer heat.

These are from a while back and I have since made modifications to the loadout. Now, the ballcap has a U.S. flag patch on the front and "Don't Tread on Me" patch on the back. The Wasatch has been amended with three snap-fastened utility pouches on the front (scavenged from a rifle bag) for loose ammo and tools. The carbine is an old M733 with some handpicked parts (an under barrel flashlight mount with a Surefire G2 is to come) and a CompML2.

I'll be investing in another carbine soon - an M4A1 with Magpul accessories (handguard, grip, stock, and magazines) and an EOTech 553/Vltor FBS-R sight combination instead of the carrying handle. Keep your eyes out for those. :D

They were originally DEVGRU for a short time, however the DoS contracted DynCorp to provide close protection. They were provided equipment such as AN/PEQII's and radios in order to call in CAS.

Really informative! ;)

Chapter 3 in Robert Young Pelton's book Licensed to Kill: Hired Guns in the War on Terror covers the Kazai PSD detail, going through capabilities, make-up and weapons in some detail. Quite an interesting read, especially how DynCorp screwed up with the first team and they walked en masse at the end of their 90-day contract.

Still needs an OD Shemagh and meybe an OD boonie hat, wouldn't you say?

Boonie hat = Yes. Shemagh = No.

Depending what type of contract you're portraying you might also want to lose the kneepads, i.e. close protection or training of national police or army would probably not require kneepads. Neither, quite probably, would raiding drug labs out in the jungle.
