akiraspeedstar
I have absolutely no idea haha, hell more then likely all of the replicas are from the exact same factory, just with a new sticker.
ericfine50
Yes, the V-Lites are out from Element. There are some on EBB right now, and i just saw a thread about the Element Manta Strobe coming soon. Â A Fast Carbon replica, the only differences that I can tell is the padding is different and that the real helmet has tan bungies, while the replica has black. Not a big enough difference for me to care about, plus I would in no way want to spend $593 for a real one O_o. Did those v-lite replicas ever come out? Â Â
thepesh
I like those Peltor mounts better than my OPS-Core one. My Ops-Core ones seem to jut out a lot. Yours seem more low profile. May I ask where you got yours and how you mounted them to the ARC rail? Â this mount is a "Peltor Ear defenders Helmet Attatch" - from ebay [cheap option] http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peltor-Ear...item45fef736f5 Â - and off course you need some DIY - check this movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U8j0pKJG1A

uscmCorps
That's a great video man. Very straight forward and simple. Thanks! So the only thing keeping the entire mount from swiveling on the Arc rail is the tension from the screw? I'll give it a try. I wonder if I can find some nice hex or torx screws to do the job. thepesh
My helmet and standard top mount for GoPro HD   ... some DIY ;-) and i have free NVG mount    Edited December 18, 2011 by thepesh
uscmCorps
this mount is a "Peltor Ear defenders Helmet Attatch" - from ebay [cheap option] http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peltor-Ear...item45fef736f5 Â - and off course you need some DIY - check this movie Pesh, another question for you. The helmet mounts you used ... did you buy just the mounts? Or did you get them with a set that had ear muffs and the wire armature? I ask because all the listings I've seen online for the mounts have just the mount, bit the wire armature and clips. Â Also, you trimmed your mounts right? You removed the excess material around the round center as you weren't using any of that for mounting onto the arc rails.
TerranCmdr
Looks sweet pesh. That's exactly what I was going to do but I got a Contour instead.
ericfine50
Pesh - do you have a step by step on that mount?
uscmCorps
eric, take a look at the video pesh posted. It's not entirely a step by step, but it's not too hard to figure out how to go about doing it. I've just ordered all the parts in. I'll be doing a tutorial when I get them next week with comparisons to my OPS-Core Peltor mounts.
ericfine50
Thanks - I was talking about his DIY GoPro Mount. But, I think I figured it out.

Scuffer
Maybe I can detach the halves of mine and enbiggen it somehow? More wishful thinking. Â Did it come with any mounts for the ARC rail? Possibly mate, though you'd gain a cm or two tops and I don't know if it would interfer with the ARC rails. Â No, no mounts came with the rail. BaggyPants
Well I got my refund through from jkarmy. Good job too looking at the size of the air frame. Can anyone recommend a lid for the larger noggin, which is extra large in my case?
uscmCorps
The DragonRedAirsoft FAST Helmets are sized M/L but compared to my genuine M/L Ops Core helmets, they run larger. I'd recommend you try those.
BaggyPants
Thanks. I'll check them out
