Pkekyo-Nor
Modified an NFM cover to fit my FAST helmet. Not a perfect fit, but does it's job.
Erka92
Looks great! Did you have to cut the fabric?
Pkekyo-Nor
Aye, had to cut away most of the fabric underneath the ARC rails.

ctres94
Am I the only one who doesn't think that digital patterns look good on helmets in general? Nothing against this one in particular, I actually really like the setup but I just don't really care for the paintjob.

Wildman1
MSA TC2002 Custom Multicam Cover ANVIS Mount and LPBP ANVIS 6/9 Goggles Surefire Helmet Light (not pictured) I have Ops-Core ARC rails on the way. They should be here tomorrow.
Ivan le Fou
smaller squares! Nah, I was going Latvian (aka low-res digi) style.
ctres94
wildman that helmet is amazing. I think it will look better without the rails and just mount an HL1 directly to the helmet like in the CAG pic that I assume that is based on.
Wildman1
I would, but the sides seem way to plain for my liking, although I do have the Surefire mounted to the helmet directly instead of the rails.
ctres94
To each his own I guess. I'm sure it will still look cool with the rails, or you could add some velcro to the sides for some flags, etc and you are definitely going to want some bungees to keep the anvis goggles safe.
Wildman1
I may do that instead, the flags would look good. I'll just need to secure the google with a bungee
ctres94
You can either just use two little bungees to reach around the helmet or you can make your own. I just noticed that mcmaster.com sells hooks and shock cord separately so I'll probably be buying some for myself to make custom length bungees. They don't have any appropriate colors other than black but they are cheap.
CplHicks
My very much WIP Ops Core lid. Ops Core Base jump repro Element E-lite Princeton Tec Charge US IR Flag patch Morale patch Still need to get green E-lite, manta strobe and AOR1 counter weight pouch. As for the E-lites does it matter which side the green and red go? Then its the NVG setup to tackle after.
Fire NL
Usually dictated by SOP (IIRC). but in shipping and airplanes the rule is the green one is on the right side, red on the left side (GRASS = green right at starboard side). But that's how i have set it up Edited October 31, 2012 by Fire NL
Pkekyo-Nor
Red is right, in this case. There are NATO standards for marking, such as this.
