Roecar
Yea don't do it yourself... I'd advise drilling holes into a helmet as you compromise it's ballistic qualities. Can you exchange it?
TheFull9
Well the ones on OpTac come pre-drilled so it's certainly intended to be done. Â Just needs doing properly.
Pkekyo-Nor
They come pre-drilled from Crye, the manufacturer.Either send it back and have it exchanged, or find yourself an NV mount that attaches by friction (ratchet strap or somesuch) Edited July 30, 2013 by Pkekyo-Nor

Pkekyo-Nor
No, that there is a proper snag hazard. He's allready got a *fruitcage*ton of disco lights on the rear of his helmet, hasn't he?
millest
Hi Folks, time for another update on a little Airsoft project. As some of you might remember last time we saw the Ops Core Fast Helmet replica it looked a little like this:Â Â Since then I've played a few games in it and come to love it, the only problem is that whist it does blend in, often it also stands out, mainly against the greens. It just ends up as a brown spot. With that in mind I recently purchased a nice Multicam helmet cover from the wibbly wobbly web, now im not normally a fan of covers but i must say this does look sweet. Â Â Â My only concern is, that like the MICH (that i will be selling soon) it loks like its missing something. I cant quite put my finger on it but just not sure what it needs. Any thoughts? JCheeseright
flag patches! and maybe a couple of v lights to go on the back? all the cool kids are doing it these days!
Steinbruchsoldat
I put it there on purpose beause this helmet is used for night skiing too, and it`s needed up there to do that...  No, that there is a proper snag hazard. He's allready got a *fruitcage*ton of disco lights on the rear of his helmet, hasn't he?
Pkekyo-Nor
...you're using a chinese replica helmet to protect yourself from high speed falls? You're absolutely right, you've got way bigger problems than the *fruitcage* manta strobe falling off.
lewisimo
I dont want to be "that guy" but most ski type helmets don't protect you from high speed falls. There mostly tested at 14mph.

Steinbruchsoldat
[YOU] <--------------------------------------------------------------------------> [THE POINT]I think this absolutely fits your own post. I also think that you don't have any idea what you're talking about. But this is a airsoft forum and not a skiing one, so lets continue posting pics of helmets... Edited August 6, 2013 by Steinbruchsoldat

JCheeseright
I know, but sometimes you know it's worth checking... like when someone has a deposit for a small flat hanging off the front of their helmet!
Jimmypie
I wouldn't go that far, might rent you a flat for a month or so lol. Â It's a sweet piece, and I'm lucky to have it.
