PPM05
Hey guys. I'll be receiving my G&P WOC M4 soon (hopefully ) I've already planned on getting a full Ra-Tech BCG for it ... do you guys suggest any other upgrades ? like precision barrels or hop up ? Also GHK mags. perform well in the G&P correct ? as long as you make those minor adjustements.
swannie_2006
yeah. You might want to have a precision barrel and either change the hop-up or mod the G&P one because it sucks.
PPM05
What should I go for ? RA-Tech hop up and barrel ?

YUP loveeeee my ghk mag works flawless but has fewer rounds than a normal wa mag X_X oh well. i have a vid up on youtube of my g&p woc and more to follow! I have 2 pdi inner barrels actually a 9 and a 20 inch depending on what i wanna do. This thing is a snipers dream come true! more to come soon!!

swannie_2006
What should I go for ? RA-Tech hop up and barrel ? Yepp. That would be your best bet. RA-Tech sells a hop-up+prec barrel combo at a -sort of - reasonable price. Go for the longer barrel if you don't have such low fps limits in your country as in the UK.. PPM05
Thanks for the advice guys. Regarding the inner barrel, on an M4A1 should I go for the M (363mm) or S(250mm) length ? keeping in mind limits here are 1J (although I will have the RA-Tech NPAS) Cheers. swannie_2006
1J ? Holy ######... That is worse than here. In this case I suggest you go for the shorter barrel (210mm) . It will still be way over your limit. Mine is shooting 400 fps on green gas when the NPAS is turned off Shoots 280 on duster gas. But it does not like the duster because the RA-Tech BGC is steel not alu.

Man that sucks about the limit...mines shooting right around 3.5j (semi auto for sniping only of course hehe)
PPM05
Yep that's around 330FPS if I'm not mistaken. I will be shooting indeed with green gas, but I thought with the NPAS I would be able to turn it down to 1J even with the Medium sized barrel what do you think ? Would I risk loosing accuracy with the shorter one ? Edited October 30, 2009 by -HOOT-

swannie_2006
You won't lose accuracy. There is just much of a difference in the barrel length. If it was between 300mm or 500 mm then sure you'll have noticable grouping differences. What it makes all the diffrence in the GBBR world is the fps. Longer the barrel higher the fps you get. PPM05
Thanks for the advice guys ! So apart the things I already listed I should be good to go right ?
swannie_2006
new barrel, new hop-up, NPAS or complete new BGC. Oh, and if you want to have bigger re-coil (especially with the tuned down fps -> better re-coil) buy a summer buffer tube spring. Much stiffer. You'll love it, trust me. tinydata
I just got a used WOC. Love it to death already, but the receiver wobble is potentially worrying. Do they make receiver pins to solve this?
-=OGGY=-
Yup; both G&P and RA-Tech make pivot pins that fix the wobble. You could also mod a RS AccuWedge to fit and stop the wobble that way.
tinydata
ouch! $26 shipped from Asia. Anyone have them in the US?
SilentTank
ouch! $26 shipped from Asia. Anyone have them in the US? buy the G&P one thats what i have. Hopefully you can order something else to make the shipping worth it. The RA tech one is insanely expensive! Only thing to know about the G&P one though is that sometimes its hard to close the body properly without loosening it!
swannie_2006
you have a proper product name/code for the G&P one ?
Schaap
Here is the pin, I just ordered one too: http://www.gp-web.com/en/productspop.php?pid=2277 "WP101"

CharlieQB
Searched the web but to no avail. Anyone got any links for the Co2 mags to fit the G&P family. Anyone got any feedback on them from use?. Are they as heavy as the GBB mags?. Thanks in advance.
tinydata
Sorry, but I don't think there are any gas in mag CO2 mags for the WA family yet. Some people are trying to cram a CO2 powerlet into a modded GHK mag, others have run lines to external CO2 tanks.
CharlieQB
Sorry, but I don't think there are any gas in mag CO2 mags for the WA family yet. Did say the G&P, not WA. If it makes it any diffrence?
shinhk
tinydata said "WA Family". A g&p mag is an INO mag is an AGM mag is a WA mag. So when you ask about a co2 g&p mag it doesn't make any difference. The difference is whether the system you're going to be using it in will hold together with the pressures of co2.
