mimesis
VLTOR side mounted bipod. Real-steel version, King Arms version (hard to find), ACM version (I think).
Viking
Its VLTOR ACM version. I think I got it from px-airsoft. It has a new AAC Dark Earth suppressor now with an Orga 500 mm barrel w/ flat hop. Range is about 320 ft. Thanks for the comments. Sent from Hercules

Im going space
I used to have the king arms one and hated it. It wasnt nice to use at all. So went back to harris style. Although it was useable with an M203 Generic Tapatalk Signature.
Bucko
I need a different bipod (or I'll just run it without one), but here's my baby.
Aussiephoenix
Hi Guys, I've recently purchased an old CA M14, and I've opened her up, inc that weird v7(?) gearbox, and when i put it all together again, it seems to only fire full auto, which is precisely what I didnt want... can anyone well versed in the V7 gearbox help me find out what's wrong with it? the metal arm on the left hand side, (supposed to control single and auto) is there, and the outer spring is there, forcing it down, the selector and its plastic arms have been removed, and yet... full blast... help please! :\
Imperator
My guess is (it's only a guess 'cause I never tampered with a V.7 GB) when you assembled the gearbox again, the cut-off didn't go in it's correct position.
Aussiephoenix
Very possible... I was completely frustrated with so many failed attempts to close that damned gearbox... harder to get everything in place than the old V2's... how does the cutoff switch work? have any photos that might shed some light on it? thanks. Imperator
I don't have any pics, but my guess is that it would work just the same as in a V2.. Found this assembly guide on YouYube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2h_5LzDnQo See if it helps.
Aussiephoenix
Unfortunately, CA have a way of wanting to be different than everybody else in design, so it only helps slightly, specially since the guy in the video refers to the selector arm as "this metal thingie here", but its the thought that counts. thanks mate. Ill just have to tear the dreaded V7 open again, and mount it all more carefully.
Atsalakotos
custom WE spr mk12 mod 0 gbb. That is very interesting! What kit did you use? Is the outer barrel wobbly at all?

rolling-thunder
My DMR.I was going for the L129A1 look. I thought i'd add a few photos of my built gun.The barrel is a bit long for me to be happy but otherwise i think it looks the dogs danglies. Things left to do.I need to respray the lower reciever to remove the word "Auto" as it no longer fires auto. The ASCU is set to basic mode & the selector lever can no longer move past the post in the lower reciever.I'm considering having barings fitted to the gearbox to replace the metal bushings already there.I'm also considering having the lower reciever engraved with trades. Anyone have any thoughts? The parts are {so far } Harris style Bipod, front folding grip,Magpul pistol grip,Noveske 12.6 free float rail, M16 length Fluted outer barrel,Vortex flash hider, shell deflector. The gun also has madbull hop rubber & a 6.03mm tight bore inner barrel. The gun also has an ASCU fitted to enable it to shoot semi auto only with out locking up. ollie_ty
The only negative thing I could possibly say is that im not a fan of that style of vert grip. Besides that, its a delight.
atomicaardvark
groundhog-shooters - M110 looks really good. I always hear mixed views about Ares, what's it like?
Eizen
Photos of my SR-25 Shoots around 450fps and range is around 300ft with the R-hop. I use side mounted aimpoint micro as a backup sight. I am going to paint it next year (green) and thinking of buying other scope and mount. Probably a SR-25 scope mount replica. Any suggestions on scope? Would a shortdot look *suitcase* with a SR-25 or should I stick with "normal" scopes? The current one is a 3-9X Tasco.

Short Stack
Is a 509mm barrel long enough for DMR applications?
DarkLite
More than enough. I'd recommend a PDI 6.05mm ASH tightbore - won't break the bank, and it's stupid accurate.

RSM
More than enough. I'd recommend a PDI 6.05mm ASH tightbore - won't break the bank, and it's stupid accurate. It's Prometheus that do the ASH line in 6.05mm...to be fair I think you could throw either into a gun and see minimal difference
Aussiephoenix
My Classic Army M14 with a little extra venom inside. Pardon the bright red paint, its required by law here...
