evilliboba
That is a fine piece of leather there. So... Tanaka M500 10.5 Compensated Hunter. What kind of FPS would it get on Green? Is it safe to use Green? I'm thinking about join the good old revolver club with one.
Moriquende
According to Snowman, the 8" version gets about 300-310 fps on 134a. So you would probably get around 380-400 fps on green with the 10.5". And all tanaka revolvers can take green Edited February 3, 2007 by Moriquende
renegadecow
Oh, but I get 450~460 on mine and its just an 8". I broke it by the way. Silly me. Now I have real steel replacement parts straight from S&W on its way, and thats a looong way. Heres a couple of pics. The one below is a fantasy rendered by a friend. I don't know what that ring of smoke is for though. Also, new on the Tanaka website (as I was desperately looking for replacement parts) is a gas regulator for the M500 along with their other gas guns to abide with the .98J law. Back when Snowman wrote his review, the 500 would be severely restricted in use because of its power. With the reducer at hand, you could probably tweak power levels on green within acceptable limits. Edited February 4, 2007 by renegadecow
Sledge
Hi. My name's Sledge, and I'm a revolveraholic. It started with a KWC Colt Python, before I really knew what airsoft was. Then, in 2004, I got a Marushin Taurus Raging Bull second hand. In 2005, I bought a Tanaka Heavyweight Civilian SAA and a Tanaka S&W M60 Chief's Special. Now... I fear it's too late for me to do anything about this addiction, but if I can help anyone else by taking their revolvers, please let me know.

Not Midnight Blue unfortunately. Interested Sledge?

renegadecow
And I was wondering why you have Ocelot for an avatar.
lightprocess
Any word on whether the new Marushin Raging Bulls (as reported on airsoft-news.eu) will have any improvements/significant changes over the previous models? or is it just a re-promotional thing? Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question.
UMGuy
Great Collection Sledge. what Raging Bull is that? Is it double action? Does it function like the real steel? Thanks. Revolver FTW!
judgeman
crappy pic of mine with the new body armor, shame I have to part with her =<
evilhippy
Well, as you know Sledge, there are a few revolvers left from my collection for sale I believe the M36 chief's special, the Super Redhawk, the Constrictor, the 4.75" SAA DC and mebbe another one or two are still available Oh I'm sorry was that a blatant plug? Oops silly me ..
Aitch
never got on with big revolvers before having owned a few and got rid off, but i finally managed to get this.. most happy with it, for a few weeks anyway
lawofthirds
I just ordered the 10.5" compensated hunter from GnG. How long does their shipping usually take to the US? Also, does anyone know any holsters big enough for that gun? Would a thigh rig work?
AirForcePR09
I have a good old one, 6mm Marushin S&W .44 Magnum 629 Special: Anyone else have one?
BigAl
That's a Model 29 Classic Hunter. A six in a Smith Designation means stainless, wish the bloody airsoft manufacturers would cotton on to this. Nice gun.
AirForcePR09
Thanks, finding parts for it is hard, I can't find any extra shells.

Nice gun. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True, but 6 doesn't have to mean silver - There are blued stainless guns, too... Of course, matt black's not a realistic finish for the 29 or 629, but I'll resist posting any more photos of my midnight blue Tanaka S&W 29 Cheers. AirForcePR09
Know your....revolver: Don't ask why my cell phone is in that pic, because frankly I have no clue. The crummy little piece that stopped my revolver from well revolving for a while, yeah for jerry rigging, because Marushin stopped most if not all 6mm production. seppuku
Here's a close-up pic of my Marushin Raging Bull (which is pending sale at the moment): I also have a Marushin Constrictor and a Tanaka M500; I'll post some pics once I take some half-way decent ones, although the "midnight blue" finish on my M500 doesn't seem to be as...blue'ish anymore. AirForcePR09
Looks nice, I almost rather have an 8mm revolver than a 6mm now, just because of what happened with Marushin, stopping most if not all production of 6mm products
Mathub
Tanaka m629 classic 4 inch Wodd grip
