Shardik
Nice Python. A qestion, how many of you skirmish your revolvers?
Romulus
Nice gun and nice pictures Guinness. Only thing that would make it look better would be some real grips. I guess that with your painting/weathering skills you could probably make the stock ones look good as well though.
Stealth1911.
Nice Python. A qestion, how many of you skirmish your revolvers? I'd also like to know, always been a fan of revolvers but the 2 ive owned werent really skirmishable (tanaka snub nose (was slightly borked tho), KWC 6" python)
Guinness
I've used my Tanaka M15 Combat 2.5 on the field before as a backup- but I really doubt I'll take the Python out....heck I've got it wrapped in a nice soft chamois just sitting on the shelf now lol BTW, it chrono's around 280 w/ 0.20's on green Edited May 18, 2009 by Guinness
Shardik
Heh, i intend to skirmish the hell out of my M29. When i get the chance to skirmish that is!
my_plague_666
lovely python! you really should get a real wood grip for it though, if anything lets it down it's the grip.

My first gun was a M18 the .22lr version.
Guinness
Didn't know they'd done a M15 Combat Masterpiece, got any pictures? My first gun was a M18 the .22lr version. Doh! I meant M19.....
snowman
Damn, that steel finish looks good I always fancied a 6" Python (ooh err missus), but you need some real steel WOOD grips to finish it off. Starsky and Hutch have a lot to answer for! Cheers. Edited May 20, 2009 by snowman
BigAl
Doh! I meant M19..... Bugger! Wondered how i'd missed it like.
Romulus
Fresh pictures of my new Marushin Super Blackhawk. I decided to pick this up since I was curious about the quality of Marushin revolvers. Turns out that it is a really beautiful piece. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet but when hkssr20det owned this his chrono numbers looked amazing. I also have a RS Super Blackhawk so this is a fun training piece to have. Once I get to test it out more I'll probably take more pictures and post up more info. So far the only upgrade is real wood grips.
WhutJP
nice! was getting the wood grips on hard? did you have to mess around a bit to accommodate the gas tank?
Romulus
Thanks. The grips are aftermarket Marushin grips so I didn't have to do any fitting. My guess is that fitting RS grips would be very very challenging (there is a lot of material removed from the Marushin ones). The quality of the Marushin grips is quite nice though so there's probably not much point in trying to fit RS ones.
baias6230
Nice one Romulus. I like the grips. Classy..
firewolf
would love to see more people use things like that in games
Romulus
Thanks gents. The thing is so big that you definitely get more intimidation factor. The chrono readings that hkssr20det took when he owned this gun also sound pretty wicked (380FPS w/ .34's @ 70F).
seb
cool, just watching crime watch and they are just showing a revolver on it now
danr
My collection. (Minus 2)
Sonny
You win...game over! VERY impressive collection you have there Danr. That one colt with the pearl grips needs attention with that orange tip
daveb2
Well I guess if you've only got one revolver you might as well make it one they'll notice. I didn't realise just how big it was untill it arrived so when I took the pic I needed something to give a sense of scale to it.
Romulus
My hand cannons. I decided that I needed to get a gorup photo before I started to pass things on. Sorry about the D'Eagle.
PianoBlack
You're making me want a revolver again Romulus. -Piano.
Romulus
They are an awful lot of fun. I am looking to get a Marushin with a modern S&W type action now. If someone has one that they would pass on let me know. Especially a Marushin Super Redhawk to keep the Blackhawk company.
