Punkypink
I start out humble, someday I hope to reach Danr's level of epic win.

Moriquende
Found a M60 Chiefs Special while crusing Den. http://www.dentrinityshop.com/pr_details.jsp?pid=12539 Thought it might interest ya.
Punkypink
Aww thank you. I am looking for the specific one I mentioned tho. I got a silver one with standard grips already, as u can see, so now im after a black one with rubber grips. So far only found it on War4, but they were a bit nasty when I was asking them about their charges for shipping.
renegadecow
Tokyo Model has it. I just don't know how smoothly business with them goes. http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/ecshop/goods.php?id=3003 and the steel finish too apparently http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/ecshop/goods.php?id=4386 Edited June 25, 2009 by renegadecow
Punkypink
Hmm Tokyo Model... heard bad things about them. I'll ask an expert for his opinion about them. Thanks for pointing it out
chris u'5
TMC are a pretty good company, I've dealt with them many times without any hassle. The only thing I would say is to email them first and ask if what you want is actually in stock. This is the only bad part of their service as they don't always keep the website updated with the correct stock levels. But if they do have what you want you wont have any trouble with your order. Punkypink
They don't have it. They're gonna contact Tanaka for me, which has me impressed. But why is it so hard to find a Tanaka M37 around damnit. And why is it that the only shop that has it in stock (War4) turns out to be rude, snobbish, and probably dishonest?! Urgh I don't want anything fancy like the steel finish, I just want the normal heavyweight one. Anyone else have any online shops, be it HK, or even in Europe, to recommend? chris u'5
Well I can tell you where you can find a 'steel finish' version but you're gonna be very, very lucky to find the standard version.
Punkypink
*sob* the thing is, I actually held the standard version in my hands yesterday. But it was at a very overpriced UK retailer's shop...
chris u'5
What's wrong with the steel version? It looks pretty good to me plus it is only $190 and with the improving exchange rate, that aint too bad.
Punkypink
The heavyweight is 160 USD...
chris u'5
But you can't get the 'Heavyweight'
Shardik
Does anyone know if any UK Retailers stock one of these? http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=25718 Would kill for one right now.
renegadecow
You might not want to buy that if intended to be used for more than just a wall hanger. I was saving up for the 2" version myself when Snowman revealed to me how pathetically weak Tanaka designed it to be (read power estimate by Redwolf) and thats for the 4" model. Shardik
I did read that in an Ai review, but i dont usually take FPS ratings into account for sidearms generally. Besides, It would act more as a showpiece than anything anyay
BillyWu
My lovely Tanaka Umbrella Magnum revolver, 8" version. A very rare piece, Armouries of a certain animal sell them for £350 I believe, but no stock and probobly never will be!
H.U.N.K
My lovely Tanaka Umbrella Magnum revolver, 8" version. A very rare piece, Armouries of a certain animal sell them for £350 I believe, but no stock and probobly never will be! How does that thing perform and what does it sound like?
BillyWu
Performance isn't very good really unless I use .36g's and green gas. It sounds nice. It's mainly a collectors piece and it's wall mounted in my room.

Lone_Bullet
The power on them is pretty decent, here's my 6" version with my missus holding it DK. Tsk tsk tsk, triggerfinger? ^^ Allthough I have to say that your missus and guns make a rather nice comination Anyway, I'm asking for some advice here: I always wanted a metal 4" or 6" max sixshooter, with individual shells which hold a single bb. Preferably chrome or stainless steel and a combatgrip. Shooting 270+ FPS with decent accuracy I want too much it seems So I set my eyes on this nice little toy, brand new on UNcompany: Wingun Sport 7 Silver 4" CO2 revolver One con I see is that it uses CO2 capsules, wich are a little harder to get hold of. So... anyone who has experience with that brand? Or even a nice alternative? thank you!
AnotherJesus
Lack of hop up and silly high FPS might put a downer on it. You got any pictures of any revolvers you've owned you want to contribute to this picture thread?
Lone_Bullet
no sorry, it'd be my first then but I cant think of a better place than this to ask for info, is there?

Or even a nice alternative? thank you! Cheers, yea, she has no gun etiquette I'm afraid Have you considered Marushin? They're not the most skirmishable guns but they're not too bad. You have to remember that when you start wanting an airsoft revolver that uses shells you've got to expect a loss of performance. If you don't mind CO2 then maybe consider the WG, if not I think Marushin is your only other real alternative. http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/ecshop/category.php?id=12 About half way down that page is a Marushin Colt Ananconda. It seems to cover most of what you want, tho I'm not overly sure on the performance on that particular model. DK.
