CALLAHAN_88
How the hell do i get 18bb´s in this one?
heroshark
If it the detachable cylinder version ,they go in where the extractor would be on the RS AFAIK.
renegadecow
Yep, but you'll need to modify the ejector rod to work backwards.
sideshow Bob
Do you guys skirmish with these or are they just collectors items?
renegadecow
Some collect. Some use them for play. And others do a little of both.
heroshark
I skirmish mine but only in cqb
Solid Snake
I picked up a Tanaka Colt Bisley from a gentleman here on the forums, and I definitely skirmish with it. It's definitely an outdoor gun, running 400fps with a 7.5 inch barrel. Crazy accurate with .28 rounds and hits accurately at stupid distances. There's just something about revolvers, man. So cool. St Matt
Has anyone out there made a copy of the S&W 329PD yet? I'd love one of these!!!
DeltaZero
Seems Marushin have started making Matebas again.. 6mm X-Cartridge flavour this time. I wonder if they have that stupid LRB/Kinked barrel in them still..
renegadecow
If they do, the kink isn't as bad on their 6mm as with their 8mm. Opened up a 6mm X-Cartridge Raging Bull not long ago and the hump was barely noticeable and didn't affect performance at all.
DeltaZero
Considering getting one.. the 8mm I have is not skirmishable at all.. after you made me that holster it's just sat on the shelf gathering dust.. seems a shame!
renegadecow
Yeah, they need a heck of a lot of work to shoot straight. I'm guessing back then Marushin didn't really care as most who would buy them are collectors anyway. I'm tempted myself seeing as they're only $160 at Redwolf and $190 packaged with the holster but I've already got mine skirmishable with 50 cartridges at hand.
DeltaZero
That's the issue.. having the time to get it skirmishable and having to buy more shells.. The shells I have for the 8mm are awful the BB's drop straight out when you run. Might be the best way to go really!
renegadecow
Rehosted because the earlier stupid Facebook link changed URLs. Marushin Mateba M2007 with custom hardwood grip patterned after the real M2006.
