garry
Do they tarnish easily buddy? Hard to keep clean? Â Either way, they are both stunners. Especially the Gold Cup - one of my favourite guns ever. Don't remember them having a beavertail though, or ambi safety unless they did it on one of the very late models before being discontinued? Â Edit. MKIV Series 80? - but has wrong rear site for that I think? Edited November 2, 2014 by garry
wolfgeorge
The Gold Cup is a custom gun.. I think from a movie...The grip safety is fixed.. Doesn't move and has a BOMAR style rear sight. To bring the gold cup in miror finish like the photo below requires from me ~ 45-55 mins and a complete strip down. garry
Hard work then!, but still stunning and worth it..

judgeman
I don't think an object exists I would covet more then if Tanaka made a Raging Bull. Â I want one, but I have literally broke every Marushin RB I have ever owned in under 5 months.
renegadecow
This ones not mine actually. Just changed the o-ring for a friend as it wouldn't open up with green gas in these temps. What broke in them?
garry
I really do like certain revolvers, but I've had 3 Dan Wessons now where the pawl has lasted no more than 3-400 rounds before it's worn and won't index the cylinder. Out of interest, how are the Tanaka's and TM's in this respect?
heroshark
Tanaka's are pretty hardy . My last Tanaka lasted 5 years.
renegadecow
I still have my M500. Don't know how many bags of bbs it's used up, but I had to rebuild the hand early on with sheet metal as it wore down just enough so that cocking the hammer slowly for single action didn't lock the cylinder. My TM is still on the way so can't say anything about that, but on my Marushins I've only had to do the same sheet metal fix on my Mateba which started out already with a slow cylinder. garry
Cheers, interesting. The design of the DW doesn't help really. The spring loaded centering cone pushes against the chambers much harder than it needs to, increasing strain on the pawl anyway. In saying that, the pawl is really not fit for purpose on them, it really is rubbish.
heroshark
I've found using them single action as much as possible helps the cylinder timing and accuracy on most revolvers ,also causes less wear. Edited December 3, 2014 by heroshark
garry
I prefer SA anyway - the nice short trigger pull..

renegadecow
Thanks! Still begging for a nice J frame though. Undecided if I should get the Marushin or one of Tanaka's. Meanwhile here's a close up of the new shooter.
klh31
Webley MK VI from wingun: Â Wonderfull replica with very nice finish. One of the rare CO2 that could be used in game (power around 320 Fps for mine). A hop-up and a AEG barrel could even be fitted inside to increase the performances.
