Cesare
It could definitely be done And I don't think 2-3 drill holes is a big deal if it is properly done. There is this one http://www.mateba-italy.com/en/Handguns-scope-mounts/Mateba/scope-mount-for-Autorevolver-6-unica-and-carabine-Grifone-44-mag/ Don't know how it works and the price is a bit steep. But you could probably modify a as mount.
renegadecow
Can't put it there though. Cylinder on this opens upwards.
renegadecow
Got my New Nambu M60. With a simple o-ring change it's surprising to see it shoot 300fps with such a short barrel. Kinda sad this one's going under the knife.
Got Wood?
Tanaka? Would be interested to know what o ring you changed?
renegadecow
Marushin. It's the main o-ring on the valve (ideally 1.5x5mm but was able to make do with 2x4mm). They always go for a softer o-ring, 50-60 durometer at a guess. While it's great for preventing leaks it opens up much slower resulting in lower fps which climbs back up after a few shots as the lowered temp causes the o-ring to harden. But considering it's only a 5-shot I'd want all those to be relatively consistent. Originally it starts 260fps and climbs to 290. Now it starts at 300 and goes down to 290 from cool down. Katotaka
Can't put it there though. Cylinder on this opens upwards. drill/tap the barrel? the upper half is just big chunk of meat IIRC

SpecialWeaponsAndPlastic
Finally installed some KimpoiShop wood grips on the Dan Wesson 715: First (partially) sponsored video!
antroa1985
My latest purchase. Second hand 2 inch Tanaka S&W R8 357 Magnum revolver heavy weight. Wanted a "compact" revolver but this thing is a beast. Had no idea K frames where so bulky. Still super happy with it. Nice weight and great build quality. Some blemishes with the finish, but that can be fixed later.
renegadecow
Lol that K frame feels swole because that's actually an N frame.
antroa1985
It's an N frame? Hmmm. When I looked up info on this it said K frame. Just checked the Info on the RS version of this and you are absolutely correct renegadecow. Thanks! No I won't buy the wrong grips for it.😉

Brigg
Here is my Dan Wesson 715 with my own hand made wooden grips, I patterned them like a s&w m29 like some of the older dan wesson grips. Theyre made of common american walnut, and are the second time ive tried checkering by hand.
renegadecow
Pretty clean lines, and bordered too (I hate doing borders).
NonEx
Not a big fan of revolvers nor wood grips but I can appreciate and respect the work that goes into making them yourself. Nicely done Checkering wood with hand tools with my OCD... heeeellz naaaawh! 😛
Brigg
The checkering didnt come out perfect, but for my second attempt i think theyre great. The gunline beginner's set i bought only came with four tools and theyre not enough to do anything too complicated. So the borders are a bit gnarly, i had to do the corners with a sharp screwdriver. I might pick up a couple additional tools soon.
renegadecow
They'll always look bad to whoever's doing it lol. Honestly, they look great. I have the same set, you'll only really need a veiner and a sharp chisel or xacto knife on top of that for most jobs.
druid799
What the cow said , you’ll never ever be happy with your own work just take others likes or dislikes and run with it ! 👍 PS I think they look wonderful! renegadecow
Only a water gun. But it sure is making the gears in my head turn for the prospect of a bb firing version.
