-=OGGY=-
in the nbc show 'kings' it looks as tho most of the guns are airsoft (i can't imagime why nbc would buy a bunch of jp rifles and tacticool ak's for a mini-series) my guess is it is madbull/echo stuff.....hopefully someone can confirm this. Whitehawk
Been watching the Flashpoint series, and someone mentioned those airsoft mp5's. Well heres a shot of CA armalite. http://media.insidepulse.com/zones/primetimepulse/uploads/2008/07/amyjo3.jpg I wonder if those m700's used in the series are airsoft too.. Titleist
Yep, that's Amy Jo Johnson. Also just FYI some real shooters do in fact push their reddots up on to the forearm, a lot of the local SRT guys run rigs like that.
mimesis
Green Zone: M16 w/ GL and heat shield is G&P. http://www.imfdb.org/index.php/Green_Zone#G.26P_M16A3.2FM203 People on IMFDB seem to be a bit confused about difference between G&P (correct) and G&G (incorrect). ko5ma
Thread revival time - G&G SR25 in "Death of a President" (2006). For comparison: Edited October 10, 2010 by ko5ma
hitmanNo2
There were some airsoft pistols used in 30 days of night: Dark Days. Quite noticeable with some terrible CGI muzzle flash or lack thereof in the scene at the motel. Also, I'm pretty sure Jessica Alba's Glock was a TM in Machete.
Jedigreedo
In the new show Nikita they have a rather cool armory with several guns hanging on back-lit walls. From the normal filming distance it's difficult to make out details of the various guns, but they decided to give the P90s a closeup. Is it really that difficult to cut the funnels off? BrooklynBorn
The TV show Chuck, uses a WE Baby HiCapa 3.8 as their "tranquilizer gun" The close up even has WE written on it.
SteevoLS
Fortunately, they do just use it as a tranq gun. No telltale brass barrels in their "real" guns.
Rogue845
Just watched 'The Losers' and there are soo many airsoft guns there....
hwagan
Richard Armitage in the Chris Ryan series on Sky One a little while back; Used an Airsoft Mp5K - He goes to check the mag when he's making (what he thinks) is a last stand after rescuing the girl/the arab kid - You clearly see the feed spout on the top of the mag. Wildwilly
Jet Lee`s FN2000 in The Expendables poster shows a high cap winding base.
starburst
The give away winding wheel is fairly common on promotional material for films and TV shows as well as during scenes where a non firing prop makes more sence than having a more expensive real weapon when theres no need for it (for both main cast and background performers). danielsilva
Damn ... airsoft guns are used THAT much on movies these days ? What impresses me is that most of them are high visibility, high budget
