binarypunisher
It might help if you wore it where it was supposed to ride, and went down a size in plates - they look a bit big on you.

masakarijoe
Sorry about the double post but I know I wouldn't fit all the pics in one post: Here's what I bought it for, and before anyone asks, NO it's not for sale, and NO it's not the cheap POS on RSOV:  http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/Rang...ptain/FCS10.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/Rang...ptain/FCS11.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/Rang...aptain/FCS3.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/Rang...aptain/FCS9.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/Rang...aptain/FCS6.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/Rang...aptain/FCS5.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/Rang...ptain/FCS12.jpg http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/Rang...ptain/FCS13.jpg  Captain Scott Mitchell impression from Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2.... ya I was that dedicated I bought this Plate carrier... but it is quite nice and definitely one of the gems of my collection;  badass looking kit! the only change id suggest would be the helmet, but you already mantioned you painted it. i always wondered about getting one of those "chassis" in coyote brown... -Joe Edited August 7, 2009 by masakarijoe
Chevieblazer
Ok, well... Â I really dislike the CP stuff in ACU (MC all the way) but anyways. Â Funny what you say about the CP Chassis. Mine(and it's the replica) is about the most comfy thing to wear ever, I like it war better than the Ciras, EPC or Weesatch, mostly because the padding allows for air circulation, keeping you cooler on a hot day. The pretty much only thing the ciras does better (imo) is that it has more molle real estate. Â Also, I'm pretty sure that ain't crye pants. the cut looks like Ops pants (noticable differences are the useless magpockets on the front, the pockets on the back and the missing crotch zipper) since the kneepads aere smooth, it means you either got hold of some genuine CP pads in FG, or the whole thing is an ACM replica of the Ops. Shirt looks like a crye-cut
Lizzard
Crye pants have thigh pockets as well...
-Angel-
They're either OPS or the china-clones of the OPS on ebaybanned.
RC-1138
They're either OPS or the china-clones of the OPS on ebaybanned. Â Neit lol. Their Crye made for the US Army's FCS commercials. Like the Chassis it's a LITTLE different from their normal product line version.
-Angel-
I'm taking about the uniform. The chassis could well be 'special' but the uniform ain't.
medic23
that's what he's talking about
-Angel-
Aight. Stick up some pics of the labels, then theres no doubt. Even the experimental stuff had crye labels.
RC-1138
Unfortunately can't. I dont even have access to the Chassis at the moment since I'm on post and hehe, their not... also about 200 miles away :S .
Shardik
Us airsofters can be mature enough to trust in serving soliders oppinions on BDU's now surely  Ive just finished my EI MAR CIRAS and ill get some pics up when photobucket decides to uncrash itself.
-Angel-
Us airsofters can be mature enough to trust in serving soliders oppinions on BDU's now surely  Never trust anyone in the internet. Rule 1.  I think we've been talking at cross-purposes anyway. I'm not sure now if he means the chassis is crye, the uniform is crye, or both. To my eyes the uniform doesn't look right for crye stuff.  All i can be sure of is that protec helmet needs to go! There must be something more high-speed to go with that chassis... Lizzard
He does mean both. I think a MICH-2001 would go nicely with that kit.

boomheadshot (infidel)
Ammo yes Water yes new camel back bladder in my cargo pack is a big improvement over trying to get hold of my water bottle on my back, only down side my rig weighs a ton if the bladder is full ! just have to drink lots i guess. Comms i want a Comtac II but the real deal is out of my budget and the chinese are abit hit, miss or epic fail so unless i can get a reliable copy i doubt i will be getting coms anytime soon i dont even have a radio , but they are on my endless shopping list to finnsih my loadout. Lizzard
I've heard the Bravo headsets are decent, but I don't know a place to source them in the UK.
zarda999
Made by the same company if I recall. I got a swimmer and it was DOA. Speaking of I need to mail that back in and get a new one. Â Â -Ryan
Lizzard
I can't speak for certain, but I was under the impression that the Bravo headsets and the EBBs were different.
Gator_Pharmer
Here is my new plate carrier, I just got it yesterday, and I raced home from work with the excitment of a 10 year old school girl on Christmas.  HSS Gear Modular Plate Carrier (Dual Layer 1000D) Very Solid Condor Triple Stack Shingle Condor Double Pocket Hydration Carrier Condor Fold-up Drop Pouch  A lot of people have some qualms about condor gear, but it seams to be made of fairly high quality. Im not sure I would want my PC made of 600D, but for pouches, seems fine. We will see I guess.  ">">  ">  ">
Lizzard
*snip* A lot of people have some qualms about condor gear, but it seams to be made of fairly high quality. Im not sure I would want my PC made of 600D, but for pouches, seems fine. We will see I guess. I would not call Condor kit "high quality." Condor gear is somewhat decent at best. Â Gear of 500D Cordura can be of good quality, it just depends how it is made. Mayflower and BAE Eclipse use 500D for lower weight, yet still durable, gear.
