uscmCorps
Thinking about getting the LBT6094 in MAS Grey to match my Arc'teryx Urban Wolf Talos Kit. ... Still undecided.
Blackjack13
uscmCorps - That shouldn't be a debate do it! Do it! Frogfish - I've never seen an actual ranger green 6094. That's seriously cool. I know LBT make stuff in ranger green, but beyond a few pouches I've never seen a proper rig. Custom order or just lucky?
frogfish
Dropped by the pro shop for a different reason and saw it on a clearance rack.... I have First Spear comfort shoulder pads on the way to make it look like the DPC I really wanted Edit: Thinking about getting the LBT6094 in MAS Grey to match my Arc'teryx Urban Wolf Talos Kit. ... Still undecided. Being in VB I've seen some MASS grey already, in fact quite a bit of it, and it's pretty much like a cross between PCU grey/green crossed with Ranger Green, in high light it actually looks like LBT's Ranger Green. I don't see what the fuss is unless you want a urban low vis color on high vis kit. Edited November 6, 2012 by frogfish
NuBBEL
Right carrier for MK17 Mags: simply love it
bOp
Never posted photos of my CIRAS before. Nice and simple. For those who own the Mayflower APC what's the sizing like? I'm getting conflicting views on size guide for someone 5ft 11'' 180lbs.
Pkekyo-Nor
NuBBEL: Hope you won't get disappointed by this, but.... it's not a plate carrier you've got there. I'm sorry, but sometimes the truth hurts.
NuBBEL
Yeah, wrong thread i know - but is there a "chest rig" topic?

IronWolf
Thinking about getting the LBT6094 in MAS Grey to match my Arc'teryx Urban Wolf Talos Kit. ... Still undecided. Heads up: I'm pretty sure there's a strandhogg variant that's also available in grey if that floats your boat : )
uscmCorps
Grey ... or Ranger Green? I've seen the Ranger Green, it's a good color and closer to grey than most other greens. I've just never heard of FirstSpear doing anything in grey per say.
IronWolf
Definitely grey. It's for maritime based operations, I recall seeing it on their latest brochure! *Starts rummaging* *Edit* http://www.scribd.com/doc/99812721/FirstSpear-Catalog-Summer-2012#page=6 Edited November 14, 2012 by IronWolf
uscmCorps
Ah! Awesome. Thanks for sharing that. Looks like the Maritime version comes with built in floatation device. Might be a bit overkill for my usage. I wish BFG came out with a LMAC in that color.
TheFull9
You can take the floatation components out, though of course that means you're paying for something you'd not use which isn't exactly ideal considering it probably costs at least $500, or more. bobthebuilder
My FSBE clone: kit list and notes: no name FSBE clone - purchased second hand. it's not a shiny as it looks in the photo's TMC double M4 pouch - positioned dead center, so I can access it with either hand if I need to. TMC "stealth" dump pouch - packs down nice and slimline when I don't need it. TMC Velcro admin pouch - handy place to put my leatherman, notes, pens ect. actually bought mainly as a place to put my patches MSM "devil girl" patch - because sexy devils MSM "WWJBD" patch large first aid pouch - came as part of a "quickclot hemorrhage control kit". contains my first aid gear, packed into zip-lock bags to make sure it all stays clean and dry. 5.11 C5 PDA/GPS pouch - carries my cobra MT600 radio no name cobra radio earpeice - extra cable woven through the MOLLE loops to keep it from getting tangled in anything. It's not the most complicated kit, or the most high-speed, but it does me quite nicely. Future plans: add some kind of utility pouch - somewhere to put pyro replace the radio earpiece - I find the earpiece on this one quite uncomfortable add some "SWAT" or similar patches - because I can. Long term - replace bits with better quality versions as and when they wear out - the 5.11 pouch has impressed me with it's quality, so their gear is top of the list. Cheers for the tip, they are now. I didn't want to cut them up but I've taped them up under the pads now
