My first car:

Ford Escort XR3i 1.6i. 1988 same age as me lol.

It's in pretty good nick to be fair, just a few cosmetic things (dent in the pass door, and worn lumber support on the drivers)

Oh rev counter ist kaput too, but i got a new one with it.

No i'm not a Chav... but i love this thing. No power stearing, 2 keys (one for the door one for ignition) Original stereo. Quite hard to find one that hasn't been modded :)

(Oh this was taken at work, those aren't houses... well they are, they've been converted into barrack blocks)

That's in suprisingly good condition!!. Normally they go on the wheel arches and the engines seize not long after 100k. I've also noticed it's managed to keep its original spotlights, and that the heater temperature setting hasn't dried out and flaked off (that also happens on the wiper and indicator stalks). Does the central locking still work?

lol I love you man (although my wallet doesn't), you made me start researching upgrading my car. I found out that I've got my little ford focus has a "sport" Zetec engine, meaning it can handle upgrades.  :D

LOL, nice. I could get an engine swap with a Dodge SRT-4, but that's takes tooo much money. I love my Neon, the handling is amazing, acceleration is very good, and gets about 26-27 mpg!! :D

:) Yeah central locking still works, as do the electric mirrors. Engine is sound too. Guess how much she set me back?
