Although it might seem pretty ridiculous to some of you, it is his car, remember ;)

Ofcoarse, it's his car and he is free to do what he wants to it. But seing as he said he wants to put BMW emblems, he is expecting some forms of comments from us.

haha

Well I chose a 328i cause it looks kind of similar, and mostly due to power. a 328i isn't as jacked as say a M3. And remember, this is a Corolla. 1.8l VVTi I've got like no low end torque in this thing.

But I've always wanted a BMW. I just don't wanna pay a lot for one so I might as well just swap emblems.

I mean what, are the BMW Police going to arrest me?

So, a BMW 328i badge will add power and solve the torque problem? Hmmm...

*buys BMW 760i badge for Volvo*

My current runaround is one of these monsters, but in dark blue.

Saxo.jpg

That's 1124cc of pure, unadulterated POWER. I'd like to get something bigger but, as they say, all my money am belong to airsoft :P

I'm taking my bike test at the start of October so with a bit of luck I'll be able to treat myself to an early birthday present in the shape of one of these.

VFR400.jpg

I have a massive soft spot for the NC30  It's a real shame 400s aren't that popular anymore.

Yup, and most humourous they are too :D

Next you will be getting an elephant along to reshape it to look like a beemer..

Where can I get these elephants Dave? I know a Mini that could do with some `restructuring` :P

...Except it will make you look like a tool.

That is, in fact, true :D But everyone is still free to look like a tool if they choose, and they might only look as such to certain people ;)

Just thought I'll throw in some pictures of my new car, which I just bought this summer. The photos were taken during the pick-up, but I've just photoshopped them a little as one can easily see.

It's a "Saab 9-3 Aero Hirsch Performance" with a Sentronic gearbox, which is basically in automatic gearbox with shifting paddels on the steering wheel.

o nice thats fun.  is it fast?  ive never been in one before

That depends on what you're calling "fast". :)

This model has 230 bhp and does 0-60 mph in 6.9 seconds. The main strength of the engine is - and this is where things really get going in the Saab - accelerating from 30 mph upwards, since you have then got the right revs for the turbo to kick in perfectly from the get-go.

get rid of the saab, get a volvo. Volvo > saab ;)

You do realize that those are two totally different cars, even if both are swedish, which they actually aren't, since one is built with Ford- and the other with Vauxhaul/Opel-parts.

You just can't compare the ambiance in a Saab with any other car's. The windscreen is curved like in a large jet, the immense castle-like centre console surrounds the driver like a pilot, you have a night-panel mode for ticklish night-drives with bad visibility, the SID displays important informations right in the driver's field of view - you don't drive a Saab - you fly it. When I get into my car, I suddenly find myself being Tom Cruise in Topgun.

The S40 T5, which would be the 9-3s number one competitor if we are talking about Volvo's cars, which I have also test-driven has the excellent Ford Focus platform, a nice, growly 5-cylinder-engine, but it's just a bit too dull, if you ask me, while the Saab flies in a world of its own. Saabs are also much more exclusive around here. There are so few Saabs driving around, that every time you see another pilot flying by, he immediately waves to you.

PS: Maybe you were just joking and didn't want to know all that, but I just couldn't resist. :)
