screamin_weasel
some new pics of my FS1SE. just got the indicators and engine bars. only a couple more things needed. Â THIS is what working for your ride is all about. not only did i earn the money to buy it, i had to earn the money to buy the parts i need, hunt high and low for them (its 23 years old), RE-BUILD the bike using nothing more than a haynes manual and good ol' assumption and bodging. i had ZERO experience of anything even remotely mechanical or engine powered. i really did jump in head first. Â this makes me proud. one of VERY few left in the country, and from what ive seen, one of the best condition examples in the country, possibly europe. Mr_Sparkle
the S14 originially came with a 2.4 liter, cast iron block, known to enthusiasts as a "truck motor" only JDM S14s came with the SR20DE but that car is pretty sick  oops, my bad. yours probably did come w/the SR20, as you're in New Zealand sorry  <{POST_SNAPBACK}>  yep, mine is a JDM S14 silvia q's.  have finished the DET conversion, she goes nice now. unfortunately i could not put my LSD in as it is a bigger unit than my factory one, and the rear subframe from my donor car was damaged so i could not swap it. so it still has it's single spinner diff, and the complete lack of traction in the first couple of gears that goes with it  here is a quick photo of the Black top SR20DET   please excuse the unclean engine bay / car
