uscmCorps
Apologies, is there a generally acceptable size? I checked the stickies but couldn't find anything. I try never to go above 1200 pixels in height or width though anything over 800 pixels wide will get automatically shrunk down by the forum to conserve page space (but still forces everyone to download the full size). Generally I'll have two versions of the same pic. One pic will be 800 pixels wide and is the one displayed on the forum. Clicking that picture will send you to a second pic that is up to 1200 pixels wide to give the viewer a closer look: You can also change the JPEG compression ratio in various programs like photoshop so that the data footprint is friendlier. Talonclaw117
Aiming with both eyes open? That's how you're meant to sight in isn't it? At least, that's how I was taught.

uscmCorps
USCM, What MAP is that? It looks HUGE, kinda like the ones designed to hold two MBITRs.... Nice pics, nice gear, nice gun, nice field- hot damn! It's in Hesperia, CA. It's a great location, but we've kinda played there a lot over the years. I like the Tehachapi AO more, but I hope to see more large AOs in the near future. Regarding the MAP, for a second there I thought it was one of my DiamondBack Tactical Patrol Packs, but then I realized it's my Eagle MAP. It looks kinda huge because I'm running my full load out still (in the pack there's 5-6 liters of water, MREs, Goo, two full bags of Bioval 0.27g BBs, poncho, spare batteries, tools, TP, wet wipes). It makes the pack look a bit fuller than it normally is seen. I guess the other issue is that I've got the MAP mounted a bit low. Doesn't really bother me though. Aiming Costa style is harder than it seems... http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv187/c...09/14112009.jpg http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv187/c...4112009_004.jpg The stock doesn't appear seated into your shoulder. If it was RS, you'd probably want the stock shouldered for more control. * * Nice and simple load out though! Edited November 16, 2009 by uscmCorps

If it was RS, you'd probably want the stock shouldered for more control. * * Nice and simple load out though! Haha! LOL, that's exactly what I meant by "Costa style": Chris Costa's funky technique places the stock closer to the sternum than to the shoulder joint... then with some weapons it's hard to look through the sights, especially when wearing hats/goggles... EDIT: Here you can better see what I mean... (and thx for the compliment, I'm going to blush ) Edited November 17, 2009 by Jungle_Spectre

Yeah I understand Costa's shouldering technique. My comment was more from the perspective of the stock not looking like it's up against anything at all ... though it's probably just an optical illusion. From a couple weekends back ... Thanks to InflictClothing.com for the pics ... and for loaning my team Liz.
