STUNTMAN
Madeirense, a portuguese player using his M203 in an airsoft MOUT/CQB game: You can see the bb's flying and behind gas and some cotton that he uses to fill the bb's holes in the grenade... the effect it's great.
TheFull9
So he loads the BBs then puts cotton wadding in on top of them? I'd be interested to know what effect that has exactly?
Scuffer
...it stops the BBs falling out.
TheFull9
What kind of shells let the BBs just fall out? I've tried 3 different manufacturer of 40mm grenade, none have ever required padding to stop the ammo just rolling out the channels. Shoddy design work from the mfg that requires the end user to have to take such measures. Edited November 1, 2012 by CKinnerley
Scuffer
Link Those and it's a common fix for any others (ICS etc) if the likes of the rubber retaining rings have degraded/been lost or to improve the power.
TheFull9
I'd been working under the (incorrect) assumption that the guy Stuntman posted was using the type of shell featuring numerous channels arranged around a central gas chamber. Just never seen anyone in game actually use the open ended type in a game. Though I rarely see 40 mils being used at all these days actually, they don't seem to be as popular as they once were. Joe Urban
I hear if you put some talcum or baby powder in you get a pretty good effect. Not sure if flour works.
frogfish
Believe it or not, you actually get better range and spread if you use the paintball grenades with wadding at the base under BBs, then something like painters or masking tape or even another cotton ball over the end. Azubi
Aye, they are good. Much simpler to arm than the multi-barrel types and they seem to perform better as well. Chris, I don't know why we rarely see them these days, they are brilliant bits of kit for corridors and for covering doorways. I guess the one shot capability with something so heavy puts many people off, although multiple shells means you can be free to use it when required without feeling you might 'waste' it. Arghoslent93
Gunman North West, Whitworth, Rochdale, Sunday 4 November 2012. Team Djinn. I'm on the front row, centre, with the shemagh round my neck: Shortly before I threw the pyro at a bunker, taking out 4 blokes and winning the game: Looking badass: Just had to post this up as it's a great shot of my team-mates raining some serious *albatross*-kicking down on the enemy: Slamming the neutral flag in before we had to count 60 seconds until we could change it to our blue flag: Getting laced:

Hetzer
This is a picture of me during Border War 4, taken by one of the event's photographers, Adele. As is easy to guess by those who are familiar with the setting, I was playing as a Nuevo Ordenar volunteer in the Iron Legion. ; )

FTZ-WildeCard
How is the SR25 treating you? I love it - The range isn't bad stock @ 350fps, but the site I play at has a limit for DMR semi-locked rifles up to 400 fps. I'm currently in the process of having a stronger spring and tighter barrel fitted to take advantage.

Bucko
Quick tease of what's to come. Here are some screen shots from a video taken by another player on Alpha squad at the event this weekend. My teammates (from Global Assault Team) and I were selected to work as the Special Operations force for a scenario that involved breaching into a building and dragging a "fallen teammate" (a 200lb dead weight dummy) to the evac zone. First shot is me organizing the assault, following confirmation that Alpha had secured the front of the building (turns out they hadn't quite done that - took a few more tries to get in), and the second pic is... Well, let's just say it's an NSW breaching tool in tactical chainsaw form. I was selected to operate the breacher saw, and my God was it fun!

johny_blaze
Found an old one from this summer - Berget 10 @ Sweeden (a surprisingly dark one too) Front row, second from left (was gonna say the one with the stupid grin at first but looking at the picture again that would be kind of confusing)
