fenris357
any idear how these are standing up to serious use? how many rounds have people been drilling through em?
Mental Medic
I have one and have cracked it open several times in the short time I've had it, and I can tell you that ACM Masada's aren't that spectacular internally. Just expect similar durability and ROF as other A&K AEG's out there. It has a crappy grey Chinese M110 motor in it, so don't expect insane ROF. The internals are very average, but the externals aren't that bad. Plus IMO, it looks way cooler than the SCAR and any AR series gun out there. Unique externals and lack of availablility are what you'd get it for.
PlasticMag
any idear how these are standing up to serious use? how many rounds have people been drilling through em? I crossed 15,000 rounds, but mine is tinkered with internally.
appslapp
Mine is around 10-15k and all inside the mecbox is orginal...and i running this aeg with 170% spring, magnummotor and 11.1 3500 30c lipo. And no tear and wear yet.
RSM
What colour H hop are you using with the Element blue rubber?
MadMax1818
I was wondering, how much would one sell one of thies with upgrades in the uk ?
gisburn20
The A&K masada seems to be going for about £130 over here, if you can find one. The internals on mine are ok, but the barrel was rubbish, 6 inch grouping at 10 feet. I dropped in a stock TM barrel and grouping was under 1/2 inch at 10 feet (length of my garage!) That and a Madbull blue hop rubber gained me 20FPS. An Area 1000 ported cylinder and Guarder M100 spring put me at 340 +/- 5 FPS (originally - 265 fps out of the box) Might try a few more bits when funds permit, and I'm interested in trying to build in some UV led's into the clear hop unit to replace my tracer unit for the next night game. appslapp
With 130ms i have the element redrubber with the black H-spacer
Fuser
Can the A&K Masada take TM/G&P type aftermarket outer barrles? Or are you stuck with that barrel length when you buy it?
rfisherjr
I don't know but for me finding one of these are like trying to find Bin Laden...LOLm there is a bunch of them available at airsoftammosupply.com if you dont mind the price. Beats having customs snag them and shipping is included. Orders ship out in 24 hours from time payment made.
appslapp
sorry but the barrel is a solid pice...so no aftermarket barrels will go.
druid799
Can the A&K Masada take TM/G&P type aftermarket outer barrles? Or are you stuck with that barrel length when you buy it? you can get a 11.5 barrel set from Monda for it as an after market extra , comes complete with an inner barrel and hop unit already fitted so you can do straight barrel changes with out haveing to swap the hop unit around . chaoslord800
Hey guys, just got mine today! I'm actually very impressed with it externally! However, I'd like to replace the hop/inner barrel. How do I remove the hop unit and inner barrel from the outer barrel? Does anything need to be modified to put in a new rubber/barrel?
Vercingetorix
Remove handguard, pull down wire lever thingy around barrel, rotate, pull out(inner barrela nd upper hop-up chamber comes out with it). From what I've gathered new hop-up rubbers should be drop ins....

Well I know how to do that but I mean how do you seperate the inner barrel/hop unit from the outer barrel itself so that upgrades are possible?
Mental Medic
There are two silver screws that you'll have to undo in order to take off the hop up and inner barrel.
chaoslord800
This is kind of hard to explain but the hop unit on mine seems to be a little...off. It doesn't really seem to push the nub far enough down for the hop to actually take effect. Has anyone else had this issue?
Vila
Same here. I put in a Madbull Shark hop up then took the stock nub and cut it in half and put it in between the arm and the H nub.
appslapp
just put some tape between the arm and the H nub, and its will work.....mine do;)
he who hides in bush
I just ordered mine and i have a couple questions for those of you who do have one already. Do they come with metal bushings stock and is the hop up any good and is it just a 2 piece m4 hop up.
waxxer
yes, both versions have metal bushings. it has a unique two piece hop-up system. theres a review up on my site also. its in hungarian, but has many pictures. [link]
he who hides in bush
also im wondering how sound the internals are. It looks like it wont last long but what was your exsperiences.
appslapp
The internals are as good as any aeg out there......almost 90% of all aeg of all brand has the same/similar gears, pistons etc.....and yes the masadas internals are good, just changce the hopuprubber and you are good to go. But for a highend set up (130+ ms) i recomend a new motor, eletricsystem and piston.
