Pictures of your Chest Rigs

Recommended Posts

I'm fairly interested in something along the lines of either

1) the EI/SKD universal chest rig

or

2) some sort of RACK type system

I spotted the BDS Tactical Simple Stacker Chest Rig and I like the idea of having the integrated magazine pouches. I've always found this feature rather neat on the Wasatch / Weesatch range and the SoTech Hellcats.

Can anyone comment on either of these types of systems? Anyone know of any other systems that utilize the integrated magazine design like the BDS rig above?

Felt bad for bringing people to have a go at Airsoft and having no tac gear to lend then so I whipped up a cheapo chest rig and way too pleased how it turned out. Viper VX buckle up rig - £28 Wynex

Jaeger and Tarzan rigs plus a Czech bag for more frags and whatnot.

With some models any pouches mounted over the mag pouches will get floppy.

My friend has a BDS rig, and for the money you can do better off.

The EI/SKD rig is nice but doesn't allow much room for expansion and I found any water systems mounted on the PALS sat un-comfortably forward on your chest.

Heres another one for you: looking for an other opinion(3rd in this case) on the HSGI chest rigs, currently thinking DACH or warlord V_, I know the gear is bomb proof, however what I'm wondering about are the buckles on the mag pouches: are they tacked to the pouch so they index the same every time, or are they connected further up?

And the utility of the admin pouch in the chest.

thanks for the advice.

Can't say on the buckles (honestly don't recall), but the admin pouch was a mixed blessing. The pockets weren't terribly useful to me in stock fashion, so I modified the heck out of the design, but the fold out panel for the map and other papers was VERY handy for field nav.

*edit - it was also a nice platform to eat from!

Id say eagle. Get a hydro backpack and your good. Very awesome and light rig.

I threaded my rig onto the straps of my backpack and its pretty much like one vest now.

@Phantom: If I were you I would move the dumper to the back under the camel back.

@Everyone: I need the cheapest place for a EI 308/m14 rig in khaki. OPtactical had them for like 50 but they dont have them anymore... other places have it but for like 70ish...
