korea115
What are the buckles on the back of a LBT1961a or EI Multipurpose Chest Rig used for? Edit: Nevermind, found out the LBT1961a doesnt have the buckle on the back, and i'm guessing not a lot of people have the EI version of it either.
The Crunchy Bunny
AnasEK, If you don't want to say, that's fine but how much did one of those kit bags cost? Did the people you bought it from know how much it worth? -

korea115
Here a pic. I'm pretty sure this qualifies as SEAL gear, since DEVGRU got the RG one with the zipper. If its for a single point sling, I'll understand. But wouldn't make sense if it was for the EI hydration pouch, last i remember the pouch had female buckles not male. owmanthathurt
Ive never really understood what those buckles were for either. I assumed they were there for customization options like rigging up an MAP to it or a backplate if you wanted.
AnasEK
last i remember the pouch had female buckles not male. You are correct, it's female so it won't work. Both my 1961's have those buckles, I don't know what they are for.
vbtb110
LBT makes their own spine pack thingy for it, maybe that would fit
Agent Hunk
Its a direct copy of the 1961A. LBT makes a special pack that attaches. Eagle, does not. If you e-mail LBT about it, they say something to the extent of: Most customers prefer modifying their own hydro carrier to work.
Azulsky
The Eagle copy of the 1961 has similiar buckles and they are currently producing the pack for it.Think its called a Yote. They are correct however it shouldnt be that hard to make any hydro pack work with it.

AnasEK
I fiddled with it and it wont seat right. I don't know what I am doing wrong, any ideas?
Titleist
It's not intended to work with a railed sig. In fact it won't. It's meant to use an adapter for non-railed sigs (it should come with one). The p114c was designed for older sigs. So simple solution is that it won't work with your pistol. asniperkill
When that paint starts to rub off and the black is starting to show its going to be sexy. Ive thought about doing mine like that but ive had bad expierences with trying to completely change the color of my gear.

Hispeed1
@ AnasEk: nice Sig, may I suggest dusting the black parts with tan? By the way, what spray paint did you use and what color? Krylon, Rustoleum, Tamiya, Testors?
AnasEK
Not 100% sure on the paint, purchased it already painted. I appreciate the suggestion but I like it as-is and won't be painting anymore. Fallen in love with it.
Whitehawk
Well, little something I have gathered. M4 and mich might be "wrong" color, but dont let that bother. Ciras is also swimmed in brown krylon. Feel free to comment. Couple more: Kliks
atomicaardvark
Whitehawk - nice looking pics, reminds me a little of the Exercise Shamrock pics. There's nothing wrong with the green MICH, there are pics around of SEALs wearing ones on deployment.
Whitehawk
Thx. Shamrock was my inspiration in first place, but I got tired getting shot to the head in the woods because of khaki helmet. M4 had the same issue, first it was in desert condition, now in woodland, now Im concidering about going back to black. Just so I could use it in other loadouts too.
