Chris North
Thanks guys! To be honest though the way they're shaped isn't that great, but I was very impressed to get a "burly" block of wood among a few blocks of standard grained stuff.
beretta
Some pics of my new arrival today. really like this pistol. those trades really make it. These MEU grips have no been replaced with something fancier. I think it looks wayyy better sorry bout the cr@p pic, had to use my phone. I'll get some proper ones in a few days. chris u'5
It's a great looking pistol but I gotta say I really think it looks much better with the first set of Pachmayrs. Please put them back on Edited May 2, 2009 by chris u'
beretta
lol, i dont like them. if they were like real Pachmayrs and made of rubber then yes, but they feel a bit plasticy. I love the look of these ones too and their really comfy to use
chris u'5
Why don't you get a real set of Pachmayrs rubber grips then? Sell the American Legends (someone here will buy them) and use the money to treat yourself to a nice pair of Signature grips
RacingManiac
The gun will feel better too because the real signature grip are weighted....not American Legend...
chris u'5
The gun will feel better too because the real signature grip are weighted....not American Legend... Thank you RM But seriously the Signature grips really suit the two tone look of the pistol. Let's have a vote, who thinks beretta should use the Signature grips? Let the people be heard
AnotherJesus
I think it's his gun, and that it looks mighty fine either way.

crunkathon2k
KJW 1911 with walnut grips. P.S. can someone tell me what kind of grips they are? I bought them because they looked nice, but not sure on the authenticity.
beretta
lol, cheers for the comments lads, I have a few 1911's and a set of crimson trace grips too so these American legends might be going on my G&G 45 and the trace's on this MEU. not really sure yet but i do like the look of the original grips so i might get a real set. the only problem bein that everyone will have a clone MEU soon eough and then it'll jsut look normal.lol

Gerkahn
Post a pic when you have a second mate, i was considering a polished slide but am quite liking its functional design. but if it looks really nice i might go ahead and get one

I'll get some proper ones in a few days. Dont get me wrong, Im a big fan of the pachmayr rosewood & rubber grips, but get a set of genuine pachmayr rubber grips like the original mate. With that finish should look spot on!. Just my opinion mind! Nick
ChrisWPA
Haha I am 17 but my mom was all for obama, so I convinced her to vote against him if shes so confident that he will win, and she did, so I guess I did vote

I think it looks brilliant, im gonna put in an order for another detonics to part out, unless someone knows of a metal slide for the detonics at a reasonable price? baias6230
Shooters Design sells the slide separately at a price of 90$ on Dentrinity's site. Nice gun, by the way.
