Mr Foxhound
Yes, but I'm looking for just the pin. And was also wondering the Nova housing came with one and if so Id buy it. Also, I was told in picture threads talking about this is still on topic. So its not off topic. Thanks Edited October 7, 2009 by Mr Foxhound

SamJacksonFan
How sweet … haven't seen a old version MEU for a long time. Beautiful … for me the best looking variant of the bunch at the moment with most individual character. Just good old style I have to admit I envy you for that beauty. Schaap
Stunning looking 1911 Tomster! Have you had any trouble fitting the PGC kit?
RacingManiac
Nash comp no more....
tomster
Wow, nice pics racingmaniac! The Springfield's awesome too! Schaap, yeah it needed a lot of filing and customizing to get it to fit and work. Took me almost half a day and a sliced thumb to do it, but it was my first time installing a kit like that (probably the last too).
somegirls
thats so perfect, maniac! I got my Kimber a new Trigger and attached the rail. (I know actually it's a hi-capa but I think right now it's more 1911ish)
reaper16
Nash comp no more.... you owe me keyboard, that is the best 1911 i have ever seen on these boards period.
elrey
I wonder if you'd say that if he took a picture of it with his cell phone camera? Hmm... anyway, it looks great even without the comp. Also, I like the 1911ish styling on the hi-capa, somegirls. It does give it a more sleek appearance.
BigAl
Nash comp no more.... You got another project lined up for the comp or did you just fancy a change?
Zmarre
Those grips just top that gun off. What type are they? On a sidenote, my Kimber has the same standard form for too long for my taste. I've been trying to find a threaded barrel for this for some time now, but I just can't find any... Anyone that can point me into a direction? (It's a WA btw)
[NL]Infinity
Bought this second-hand off a teammate, for a ridiculously good price. WA with PGC Kimber slide and frame, guarder .45auto barrel & chamber and a pair of simmonich grips Edited October 15, 2009 by [NL]Infinity
RacingManiac
Thanks for the comment guys.... the comp is just a bit more problem...the set screw system just work itself loose constantly that I got tired of it....plus the new issue of the Guns&Ammo's Book of 1911 gave me some inspiration on re-doing some aspect of the gun... elrey is right though...it's all about the pictures.... RacingManiac
More pic with a minor update....PDI guiderod modified with a cap screw to help torque the 2 piece rod....personally I find these shoot better with the full length rod, was just waiting for the part to show up.... Dom S
Hi guys, quick question. Would a TM Hi cappa 5.1 guide rod be compatable with a TM 1911? Or a MEU? Im wanting to fit a recoil guide rod to my MEU, i know i need to faff with the stopper, what mods would i need to do to make it fit? Any alternatives? Thanks. Also, that springfield.. those grips.... just, amazing
RacingManiac
All you need is a through bushing(as opposed to the closed one), and cut off the little knubby on the hop-up chamber to use the Hi-Capa guide rod. For use with barrel bushing though, you need a bushing with a barrel bushing lip as opposed to a regular Hi-Capa bushing...
RacingManiac
Went to kill some tree product over the weekend with some friends....got me some prop in return....(the gun used to produced those was a Kimber Desert Warrior....love shooting 1911 in RS and airsoft...) Shriven
Question: I have a TM 1911, and want to put a rail on it (http://www.ebairsoft.com/pa0205-1911-under...unt-p-1971.html) and then my Insight M3... are there any Safariland, or Safariland style holsters that will fit this combo?
SamJacksonFan
The holster versions for Kimber Warrior, Springfield Operator and other railed 1911 models wouldn't work because the adapter gives the roundly shaped 1911 triggerguard a squared Hicapa/STI/Infinity shape. Only chance I see is a Safariland model for STI/Infinity. Safariland has it in the product line, but hard to get. And I'm not quite convinced, the adaptive rail is slim enough to equal a squared fram of a Infinity. I thing it is a bit more bold and might cause fitting problems. 1911 + rail attachment = bad combo for weapon specific molded holsters. somegirls
Further, these rails asbolutely suck. They didn't fit on my MEU and I had to file them down. But more than that they're somehow tilted downwards.
Mr Foxhound
Rail Looks great on mine I think. Here a pic for you:\ I may get an actual railed 1911 sometime down the road. This is the Element version of the rail from ASGI Edited October 21, 2009 by Mr Foxhound
msx361
Hi fellas, any one know if rs trijicon night sight will fit a nova kimber MBK? Just need two more parts to finish my kimber warrior. Them sights and a flared grip safety as the tanio koba one i had doesnt fit, even after dremeling the ballbags off it
MCXL
Not without SERIOUS mods to the sights. If you get the right spec front it isn't to hard, (I got the wrong one :| ) but the rear is a serious pain, and is mildly dangerous. (if you bust open a vial by accident and breathe some of that *suitcase* in it can be bad) It can be done though, mine. (look at the rear sight.)
