I can finally contribute something to this thread :P

 

My new TM MEU 1911, set up to look like the FBI HRT's Springfield Professional 1911. So far the only changes I have made to it are external.

parts list:

"Gunsmodify" Tritium sights

TSC 1911 Magwell

"mulberry field" wood grips

 

Everything else including the slide and frame are stock marui parts, though I do intend to purchase a tighbore later in the week.

My repainted WE 1911:

As you can see the paint is not that good, and I missed to do a piece before I took the images. But the only pieces that are silver now is where the shell fly's out (dont know the name) and the trigger.

I wanted a torn look, but this paint made it torn just a bit too much. But I will post images again in a few weeks/months so you can see how it looks then.
