RacingManiac
I have to say I like the look of CF grip better as well....but I know what you mean about the weight of them....
wwjkc
yeah, you should know, you have the same grip as i do on your kimber (almost the same) the VZ grips are twice as heavy, and have grippy surface, which I like

discodante
I figured I'd ask the experts. Does anyone know if an ARMY detonics slide, bushing, and outer barrel assembly will fit on an ARMY MEU frame? If not, what 3.8 slides would fit on a TM compatible frame? baias6230
At the beginning i was leaning to a more tactical look for this one. But i really love wood grips I think it looks pretty good with them. Edited July 31, 2009 by baias6230
angel_wings
Love the SWAT kits. If I hadn't gone and bought some Delta kits before they came out I'd be all over it! In fact, I still might. If only I could find a Nash compensator.... The wood grips look great though. Don't let anyone persuade you to change them! Wings

Their website says they're out of stock, but I e-mailed them acouple weeks ago, and they had 1 left. Good luck!
Charly Driver
I've tried to build the Terminator 2 1911, a lower frame Detonics Scoremaster with a black Series 70 upper slide. I used parts of two Western Arms Series 70 and other some WA parts. The screen used: Movie stills: My work:

Mr Foxhound
That T2 1911 is awsome. I always wondered when someone would make one. Anyone ever plan to make The Comedians 1911 from the Watchmen film? That was a cool 1911
