Thanks TeowneD, be sure to check the video (see sig)

Ed actually for that brief chance you can pass it off as having an extended mag, while waiting for the black ones TM have now got pictures AND a price up for.

Dave could be interested, tell me more about it :P

You want to know how I "made" the extended magazine for that photo. well that was easy, i spent seventeen days traversing the Himalayas to find a secret lost village where they mine mithril. After another two months I managed to convince them to trade three of my kidneys for enough metal to craft the magazine Then I went to the depths of moria to melt the mithril into the correct shape...

Ok Ok, so i padded a normal magazine with tape so it friction fit in the bottom of the magwell...

Now to play the waiting game.

TM time is worse than ValvE time, never forget that.

They aren't as long as I had hoped :(, I may still have to get one custom made. How much would it cost to get a GBB mag shell custom machined and painted* black?

*Not painted but I don't know the right term.

Well it would either be painted, blued or iodonised i would think.

But to get a custom one would cost a fair bit, maybe a bulk purchase or something. Getting one done in the UK would be an issue too with all the 'why are you making a gun mag' people.

I know I haven't posted here in a long time, but I really love this gun I just built and had to ###### it out.

I learnt a valuable lesson. Avoid Guarder steel bits. The slide stop, safety and grip safety all required a lot of modification to work correctly. Other than that, apart from the amount of time it took, I'm quite happy with it.

When I get around to really finishing it, it'll have a metal outer barrel and Guns Modify tritium sights. Stainless steel grip screws probably wouldn't go amiss either :)

Very nice Kruck. Which magwell/mainspring housing is that?

I wish TM would make a chrome version of one of their many 1911 variants so people who want one wouldn't have to spend a fortune on making metal ones.
