cool-breeze87
I like them. Something different an unique about them.
TheFull9
So you think they are bad? Not at all, the wood just looks very red and that amused me. They're fine though.
ED-SKaR
Like certain popular exotic shirts, those grips are... "loud". They aren't bad they are just a little overstated. The important thing is you like them, and that's just dandy ^.^, the rest of us will have to get used to it .
Typewriter
My style certainly doesn't delight everybody, and that's just the 'thing'. Making something new that's not yet seen is my goal almost every time.

cool-breeze87
That's what's so awesome about 1911s, there's so many after market parts available to make a truely unique 1911.

TeowneD
I can finally contribute something to this thread My new TM MEU 1911, set up to look like the FBI HRT's Springfield Professional 1911. So far the only changes I have made to it are external. Camera: Iphone 4 parts list: "Gunsmodify" Tritium sights TSC 1911 Magwell "mulberry field" wood grips Everything else including the slide and frame are stock marui parts, though I do intend to purchase a tighbore later in the week. more pics and closeups of the tritium sights upon request. -brendan Edited August 10, 2011 by TeowneD
ikonane
My repainted WE 1911: At first: After sandpapered down: After paint: As you can see the paint is not that good, and I missed to do a piece before I took the images. But the only pieces that are silver now is where the shell fly's out (dont know the name) and the trigger. I wanted a torn look, but this paint made it torn just a bit too much. But I will post images again in a few weeks/months so you can see how it looks then.
