Who makes your TRUE primary?

Okay I've tried to list ALL of them (if there's more post it but I actually used all the available choices...). I'm asking this for both my own curiosity and I think knowing this might be helpful to the community, to know not nessasarily whose the FAVORITE brand (cause many people will say systema despite never owning a PTW likewise with G&P and a few others, like I LOVE smokey's for instance...) but what brand is being used the most, and since this is more or less the biggest airsoft community online out there... who better to ask?

 

PLEASE NOTE

 

This is about your PRIMARY gun. That doesn't mean rifle or SMG, that means what gun do you find yourself grabbing first when you go to a match, on average of course. For some that's a gas SMG, for others snipers, for most an AEG of some sort. Also only vote in one category so that this stays SOMEWHAT realistic lol. And again, I'll repeat, this is your PRIMARY gun, not what you wish you had, or what you own and wish you used more, it's what you end up using more than anything else.

 

And I've included all the clone companies DESPITE the fact that some of them are the exact same gun with a different label, I'm still interested in specifics. Also I included gas gun companies because there may be guys or gals out there that really go into a match armed with only a bunch of Tanio Koba's :S

 

*Custom Note* By custom I mean something specific, cause I'm very interested in this. To qualify as custom that means NO base gun. Top to bottom one off. Not even a Ship of Thebes deal, it's gota always been totally built from scratch.

 

Oh and to start, I'll know that my primary gun comes from Star, my favorite rendition of the M4 in AEG form so far (I like the Inokatsu the best but even if I got one it would never be my primary). And my prediction is TM or G&P but only time will tell.

My first AEG, CA M15A4 SPC. Much like gordon brown, it is neither pretty nor clever, but end of the day it just works. Never jams, mis-feeds or dies on me in any way while skirmishing, despite the fact I've spent hours crawling around in the woods with it and not once cleaned or lubricated any part.

I'll get chastised for saying this (HOW DARE HE MAKE THIS ANALOGY!) but I always found CA's to be the Kalashnikovs of the airsoft world. Never did a damn thing to mine, had it for almost 5 years now, and it works just as good as new.

To contradict what you've said, I cant think of a single CA I've owned (Three of them) or any on my local field (of about 20 or so) that have not been worked on by someone competant that have issues stock or otherwise. I cant recommend CA's anymore. A guy purchased one brand new, after a month of light playing the gun shreded a gearset and fragged the motor (sent bits of pinion into the bell, was ugly). And thats just the tip of the burg. Not a single one I've owned has not had a serious issue in some way

 

I wish they would go back to the way they were before their sportline series, as they were pretty dang rock solid back then, but now they are just horrid.

My Marui M733, I've had it since they came out, it was my first AEG, and in that time I've gotten quite accustomed to it and have it tuned pretty well, so it's almost always with me when I go to a game. Almost all of my other guns get plenty of use too though. I think when I get to build my SR47 that may become my 'primary', as I'm going to set it up just like I want and I would enjoy always having the gun nobody else on the field has.

I just wanted to point out that the percentages are going to have to be adjusted post-poll due to the whole voting in three categories thing.

 

Additionally, Echo 1 isn't a manufacturer... so votes in the Echo 1 category should actually be redistributed to JG, Cyma, etc, or the category should be eliminated entirely. Same thing does for the TSD category. Furthermore, "ACM" isn't a manufacturer as far as I'm aware.
