7jl22sea
Wow thats pretty cool, cant say I've ever seen that one before. I'm excited to see that airsoft is picking up in popularity enough for new brands to start up and old ones to come back.
StewieGriffin
Man if this is semi-automatic(and/or full auto) with 3rd shots I'll buy one soon as they hit the market, period. Shell ejecting would be even more bada$$, but that's not likely. If it's just a standard AEG or pump action it'll get a big "meh" from me though.
Horsem4n
i hop it doesnt eject shells. finding shells in the field is a hassle. they could have cloned the old maruzen defender system. mag fed, blowback, 3 shot in one trigger pull. sounds possible to me.
swatti
Anyone ever had that "double-feed" issue in their AEG? Well, i did that on purpose on on old TM AK, and i went a bit further. I made it intentionaly fire 3 bb's in semi. Small modding to the tappetplate and more mods to the last gear. It was consistant and reliable. Moving the hopup further down the barrel by the lenght of 2 bb's isnt that hard to design, then you'd have some hopup-effect on all 3 bb's. Now imagine you had 2 barrels and 2 hop-up's mounted in double nozzle cylinderhead, they do fit if you wonder and the whole thing isnt all that hard to design eighter. Add a massive spring to give the gun some power to kick those bb's into the distance and you'l have a nice shottie. Could work as both spring pump-action or AEG. I doubt kart makes it anything else exept an AEG that looks like a Saiga. But, there is hope. That 3-shooter mod is fairly easy to do on any AEG.
Horsem4n
but, remember that these chinese guys can do some pretty random stuff. i mean, both elephant never made anything but LPEGs until their M500 shotgun came out that is a plain beast. i mean, they are already being innovative by releasing a Saiga. MotoSam
It is clearly a pump action model going by the image provided, if that is the one they are making. But as said previously, that is just an image off imdb.
Grim666
Saiga is so cool I will get one of these no matter what the system is...
christavel!
looks awesome. Love Saigas, i wonder if there will be any drum mags for it, or if its possible to mod it to a tromix?

nodaisho
Funny, I was just thinking today of how a saiga 12 airsoft gun could work. I was thinking a mosfet for 8 or 9 round bursts, an extremely high ROF, a hop-up that is made to wobble about and apply inconsistently to cause the spread, and magazines resembling an AEG's would be the simplest way. Pity this one looks to be a pump-action.
Horsem4n
its not pump action just because it looks that way. look at the spas 15, we all know is semi auto only and it still looks like you have to pump it.
PlasticMag
SPAS15 is either or. Pump mode is for low-pressure rounds.
nodaisho
I assume it's pump because the handguard is messed up. The Saiga 12 handguard looks nothing like that.
Horsem4n
that was a picture of a real saiga...
nodaisho
I have never seen a saiga with a handguard like that. The saiga handguard is the same as the one on the rifles, look at izhmash's website here: http://www.izhmash.ru/eng/product/saiga12.shtml those are the handguards you see on saigas from the factory. Maybe they make a pump version for places where semi-auto is illegal?
