-Clover-
Love that AIMS mrcheetos, here's some pics of mine (she's had some work done today)
mrcheetos
Thanks. Oh my god, it's an AIMS orgy. Although, I have to say, I like the look of yours better. Can't explain why though. Maybe it's the darker furniture. But... A little confused on the internals there. What is it exactly? Edited December 11, 2009 by mrcheetos
-Clover-
The dark furniture is courtesy of Mr. PianoBlack (whom I know is reading this, haha. Again, excellent job on them bro), and the internals are the BF-steel GBB kit (copy of the GHK). Edited December 11, 2009 by -Clover-
PianoBlack
Nice job Clover on the GBB engine installation. How does it perform? The finish on the hand guards is Minwax Polyshades Bombay Mahogany, which I have a can of that will sit out on the porch until I get either another AIMS, or into the AIMS hand guard refinishing business. -Piano
cent101
That looks so good with those internals! *must not abandon the rational course of action of buying the KJW m4* Maybe some day I'll get something like that too... But until then, good luck with yours, hope it works!
-Clover-
Thanks. I'd definitely stick with the KJW. This one has had some fitment issues, and there's still more to be done. Would definitely recommend against doing this conversion if you don't have a lot of time and tools.

my_plague_666
very nice, you're very lucky if you can find the non sidemount versions these days. i was lucky to get my aks74 without a sidemount. might want to get some RS wood on there though, or failing that some LCT wood. sadly the stock VFC handguard's shape etc is way off.
