sacairsoftsn00py
Yeah. I almost pulled the trigger on the KSC TP9 but didn't cause of that. Im also not sure about the bolt...whether its plastic or metal on the ksc mp9 and if its the cause for the bolt not locking issue
Connery
No, it's metal, it just wears down with extended use of the bolt catch. It's going to happen with either one no matter what.
wraithxt1
Theres no way to fix the bolt catch issue besides a completely redesign of the catch itself. Like he said, it's going to happen one way or the other. It's not a big deal to me as it's quite easy to hear when you're out of ammo.
wraithxt1
Updating with information in Japanese 134a gas testing. The verdict is, DONT. Use green or propane, you can barely get an entire mag out on auto with 134a, and the power is very poor. My guns is still up and running with no issues save for the bolt catch. bankz5152
I just got my MP9 and its absolutley incredable! I love it so much, recoils like a mother fo especially with Ultra Gas for some reason (not as good on Z1 Green) I cannot wait to test it out in CQB!! I love how loud it is aswell! Almost finished my Mp9 Serpa holster so ill be using it as a side arm! Definately need more mags though!
ubertron
Does anyone here know how to convert a semi auto MP9 to full auto? On mine the selector switch is fixed so that you can't push it to full. If you don't know how to convert it back, would someone be able to post a picture of the unmodified selector mechanism? Thank you, Ubertron
Josiah
I picked up one of these last week, used it on Sunday for indoor cqb. One problem I came across was how the bbs in the magazine kept on jamming (as in a third of the magazine would fire, then the bbs would get stuck in the magazine and stop feeding). The problem was fixed by chucking out all the bbs in my loader and replacing them with fresh pellets from a bag of Excel bb's. Be careful of what brand you use in the mp9, some brands are larger then others and can get stuck. I heard the best brand to use is the actual KSC branded ones. amateurstuntman
Also, the rough finish on the anodising in the ramp area of the mags caused jams, I polished mine up - zero defects.
