gisburn20
Stripping out the barrel is a little tight , the original design was plastic so it would flex to allow you to twist the hop unit to the side, on the metal version it's a matter of twisting a little harder and sliding hop out. I have been impressed by this pistol from the first day I got it. after cleaning the barrel and setting the hop for guarder 0.28 HPM's it outshot my TM Glock 17. Since then I have lightly modified mine, I have pinned the grip safety, silicone sealed the hop rubber to the barrel and shortened the trigger overtravel, and slighty short stroked the action (stacked up small O rings inside the part where the recoil rod slides, so it locks back with 1mm clearance) filed the left hand safety so it engages a little more solidly etc. This little ACM GBB was really rocking last sunday , where it was scoring hits at 30m+ (Propane- Guarder 0.28's) in woodland outranging quite a few aeg's! I thoroughly recommend using propane , and not loading the full 26bbs as unless it's a really hot day it wont lock back ( always a problem with Full metal GBBs) 18- 20 seems fine.
