Fatal
Quick question: Whats the point of the little pockets at the ankles? I've never seen anyone use them and only heard that they are pretty useless. Tell that to someone sitting in a vehicle for hours. Gotta think outside the box.
BigAl
Or someone shot with lead not bb, it's a good place for a field dressing.

The Crunchy Bunny
You can get them at WGCShop, they're under the "other" products in the "combat gear" section, they're on the last page, last product. Ok sweet. Thanks
jagillham
Quite impressed with this picture from today. Coming to the end of winter here in the UK, so the woodlands are pretty dead! MC doing an excellent job!
Lizzard
Those were some... interesting helmets uscmCorps. I'm going to guess that the ones with the holes in them aren't ballistic, and neither are the face guards, or am I wrong?
frogfish
You talking about the Ops Core Fast Bump? It has a ballistic version the FAST ballistic, or the Crye Air Frame, even though I hear it has issues it would be cool to see a replica air frame, it looks very good. It has a ballistic version the FAST ballistic, or the Crye Air Frame, even though I hear it has issues it would be cool to see a replica air frame, it looks very good. The new Crye Helmet that appeared to be a two piece overlapping design is ballistic. It was okay in terms of comfort, looked cool on the shelf ... but looked odd when worn by someone. Still ... an interesting design. The face shield with the open front that bolted onto the Crye Helmet I believe had some level of protection ... perhaps it was frag. Don't recall. being open down the front would have me nervous though. The OPS Core Fast BUMP helmets with vent holes are not ballistic. They're supposed to be carbon fiber helmets that offer some cranial protection for active wear (kinda like Pro-Tec's). They also sell Ballistic Helmets that are similar in shape, but lack any venting holes and are obviously made from ballistic material.
CapaciousZepher
Some pics from a hike me and a team mate took, to figure our gear out and get some training in. It was perfect day for it, crystal clear and warm. I'm in multicam running my very work in progress UKSF loadout. Joint operation with team mate Bunkin in OD with his US gear. - Zepher
frogfish
The OPS Core Fast BUMP helmets with vent holes are not ballistic. Yep, was just noting that they had a ballistic version for him.

uscmCorps
What's the purpose of those pads on the shoulder straps? Making shoudering easier? Supposedly to make shouldering the rifle against your rig more secure. Edited March 4, 2010 by Misfit
