Killbucket
I need to paint another gun like that G36, it gets tons of compliments on the wall. Actually, one of the simpler paint jobs I've done. Look close at it-I painted it all khaki, masked the graphics with 1/8" tape, and shot walnut through the middle, and black along the top. Un-masked it, and hit it with matte clear. I still have three of these bodies in the storeroom, I should do one up in that motif. These are a modification of my "medium size" mini design. Killbucket
Yeah, it's heavy, but came in under the target of 17lbs.
Killbucket
One of the first Minis I built. No longer exists.
crackisbad
those are some impressive builds! I still think that pink one would be epic with a some artificial wear added to it...
scorch
I hate they way you make it look easy. I wanna build one, but i know I'll *fruitcage* it up and waste a load of money in the process. These are far too epic.
Killbucket
I figured out how to make a itty, bitty, wee, ittle, miniscule, microscopic, almost, minigun... Tearing down an MP7:
ED-SKaR
I'd love to see a mini-minigun. i have wanted a properly man portable minigun for ages, and by man portable i mean, sholderable and aimable. Think Unreal Tournament.
apmaman
Like that VENOM thing that was around ages ago? http://www.floridaairsoft.com/reviews/venom/
Dark Energy
You have some serious skill, Killbucket. That's beautiful.
Killbucket
thank you!!! Just doing a "what if" assembly of this tiny thing while I finish the pink mini up. Looking around, I find an M249 gearbox, still in the bubble-wrap...and a CA M249 hopup, and a tightbore! I'm gonna make Operation: Petticoat into a terror. A Pink Terror, but still a terror. Horsem4n
i think im going to make one. shall i at least post up the design so sir killbucket can do it if i end up not going through with it? im thinking of doing something close to the CAW design (Nishiyan240 has some kickass vids of it firing in slowmo on youtube) it would be cool to see your mini mini gun be a pistol. how do you pair up the rotation of the barrels with the firing of the gearbox? do you just rotate the barrel around a central firing barrel? renegadecow
You could probably use an AEG motor as the drive for that mini-minigun. A bit of warning though, those MP7 gearboxes can only go a reliable maximum of 300fps.
Killbucket
I know, it just has to be functional. FPS and ROF are immaterial. This of the mini-mini-mini as an executive desk toy: It shouldn't be too powerful.
Killbucket
Gonna put HD parts in the pink minigun. 2-inch ABS pipe will be the main body tube. I made a small cradle to hold the gearbox in position. It's barely visible here. Itty-bitty, huh?
bogdan192
Well if you're going for extra small, why not a gearbox and motor from a Glock 18 AEP. Cyma? Cheap and reliable as long as you don't over-stress it.
Jon L
the mp7 mechbox and motor are the same as the ones found in the aeps use all the same stuff just in a different arangement.
Killbucket
I have the Glock, and it doesn't shoot anything like the MP7. The Glock would need more design work, it's gearbox and piston aren't like the Mp's.
ED-SKaR
the V2 AEP gearboxes have one extra tooth on the piston than the V1 AEP. Other than that they are very much the same.
