went shopping today... only to find bank account empty. transfer was due but was a no show.

depressed at the sudden change of plans... i still continued on my way as a few mates wanted a few mags and a mp5k.

arriving at shop i get a phone call so I stand outside to take it... and mate barges in on his hunt for items... not really noticing the big brown box he nearly stumbles over on his way in.

although my call... i thinking... wtf is that... as i see someone familiar walk over to it... and upon lifting lid... raises a eyebrow

i soon realize this is Sunny... someone i not seen in a few years and chatted with later. from sunny warehouse.

i end my call and walk in to lift the lid.... "Fk me!... A Barret!"

wandered further into shop to see mate in deep and digging.

i stopped at the desk.. pointed... "how much?"

calculator comes out and the end result... "U fking shyting me!"

mate was still lost... so i started talking to the keeper.

and said "i have no money to pay for the 6 units on last fri... but can i have 9 more today"... lol.

he looked at me with a wtf look...

i quickly asked if the 062 had arrived yet which... followed with a "no"

that being 8 out of the 9 guns... "its ok then" i replied. and 9th gun on Saturday. sweet... no money, no guns. and no 9 gun haul back home. hence trying to bring friends ;)

mate was finally coming back towards front of shop... and i firmly put my hand on his shoulder... pointed... and gently whisper in his ear... "look in the box"

was all over after that... he quickly fell off the wagon and no many how many chants of..."no no no no...."

even the fact he had no money on him had no effect with his decision... as i soon here.. "dude you were going to ask get 9 guns on credit... get me 1"...

lol

"Only if i get to spend the first night with it" I replied :D

anyways... if u skipped the above.... theres a china made Barret out now!

:D

a brief review...

bolt action...

seems near perfect replication of a barret M99-1.

with the exception of bolt.

which is basically an aps with a Barret shell

light! ...well lighter than the...other ones.

heavier than the average metal seg.

cronoed... finally (not easy) at 1.2j

expecting ssdd china made internals.

mate has an aps full of lylax parts... but with a broken body... so hes wrapped!

will be going for a spin in next two Sundays.

Say HELLOOOO to my rifle:

It's big.

SW_M99.jpg

It's scary.

And fires using APS mags...

SW_M999.jpg

M4 style grip.

SW_M997.jpg

And a big big lug.

owners review :

Full metal, no squeaking, no twisting. It's SOLID.

What is it?

It's an oversied APS2. If you notice the bolt, it's actually an APS2 bolt with safety.

Meaning it'll take APS2 upgrade parts, cylinder, zero trigger and all.

Hallelujah. Hail China. You name it!

It's not too heavy as well as it's balanced nice so I'd say it is easier to handle than the CA M249

How much cheaper are the kits compared to reassembled?

Do they use the APS hop units and rubbers?

And do they use a metal trigger unit or stock ones like the Warriors or L96s?

I know how to take apart an APS2 like it's nothin', but how easy would it be to take the internals out of one of these puppies? What's the process? I want to get one for a concept USCM Sniper kit that I've been dreaming up, and I would need to consafe the rifle.
