master_titled
Is it supposed to be something?
spetsnazdave87
Which mich 2001 replica is that? I currently have one that fits decently, but is a bit big on me, and I am in search of one that is a slight bit smaller. It's the ebairsoft copy with RS pads and suspension system. However I've got a 63 inch head so I can say with conviction that it's highly unlikely it's smaller than what you have now on another point- MSA sordins are on the way
Jimmypie
Wow 63 inch head Dave, that's really grown since I last saw you, your neck must be real sore.
spetsnazdave87
I don't look it as it's in proportion with the rest of me, but it's that big trust me (that's the only hat size that fits me, I may be slightly smaller).
Jimmypie
Sure you don't meen cm? Lol

ctres94
Huh, well thanks for letting me know. My head is pretty small, somewhere about 22 or 23 inches around. If anyone does know of a small 2001 or 2000 replica, please let me know.
Redshirt 1-7
I have a stark tan helmet right now, same color as it came in. Would it be acceptable to give it a few splurts of brown paint from a long distance? What else could be done with it (no special patterns please)?
Nasty_TheYankWelshOne
I'd repaint the entire thing with Krylon or Rust-Oleum khaki. The ACM "tan" tends to be too bright, in my experience.

spetsnazdave87
Is that an M870 with a colt python grip??!? nice pic, RS or airsoft?
Wraith18A
Given the uparmored Humvee in the background, I'd hazard a guess to say RS...
spetsnazdave87
I can never tell with you American softers, you get some extremely cool toys still confused by that shotgun though lol.
BaBaBooey
Is that an M870 with a colt python grip??!? I think it might be a Pachmayr Vindicator grip.
medic23
baba is correct, i have one on my 870, very comfortable

I've got Rustoleum camo, khaki and brown. Would a flat repaint job do the trick? I sprayed the khaki onto my VFC's LE stock, which used to be jet black, and it's still friggin' bright. Nasty_TheYankWelshOne
I usually find 2 or 3 layers darkens it. I painted my black crane stock with 3 or 4 layers of Krylon khaki, and it's now roughly the same color as Block II accessories.
The Prowlah
Is that an M870 with a colt python grip??!? nice pic, RS or airsoft? That is a RS picture, it is Major Thomas Greer aka Dalton Fury, the commanding officer of the failed 2001 Bin Laden capture/kill attempt, to the right is his buddy "Shrek", I believe. He posted this picture on his facebook regarding Delta Force Leadership Tips. Edited November 11, 2011 by The Prowlah
spetsnazdave87
Nice, thanks for the backstory
Grindstone
Great pic, thanks for the backstory as well! I love the 870 holster. Given the uparmored Humvee in the background, I'd hazard a guess to say RS... I spent an entire day at a local airsoft Op in the back of an uparmored Humvee curtesy of a local USMC recruiting station.
