matfar
Very very very nice!
tom lawson
That's awesome Eizen, nice and minimalistic. One thing I'd do though would be to raise the height of your helmet, it looks as if its sitting too low on your head and it probably obscures your vision somewhat.
Eizen
Thank you guys. Â Tom Lawson: Yeah, tried to keep it as simple as possible. I can carry everything that I need with this setup. Need to add some padding that I removed earlier from the helmet.
msx361
Some pics from the heat wave weekend. Â Â Â Â Â Few more here.

The Crunchy Bunny
Nice one Eizen. That looks spot on to the recent reference pics.
tomster
msx: I had to double check to see if your pics weren't the real deal! Nice! And I'd love a pair of those trousers! Â Edit: Finished the CAG lid with an IR forward US flag patch and some home made bungee cord/hooks. Â Â Edited June 5, 2010 by tomster
Scuffer
msx: I had to double check to see if your pics weren't the real deal! Nice! And I'd love a pair of those trousers! Yer looking good msx - tactial face kevlar helps any loadout for sure. Â Just out of interest, how much did the trousers cost to have done?
msx361
Thanks guys.  How have you mount the anvis Tomster? Looks like its seated in the helmet. I was hoping me HK order with my 2001 would of turned up yesterday so i can finally mount my anvis, but its been sitting in customs most of the week! No a happy bunny!  Scuffer, we got 4 pairs done and got a bit of discount but they cost about £85 each plus the cost of the pants and pads. More info in the desert camo thread. tomster
I bought the lid with the ANVIS already mounted on it. The previous owner used the four original mounting holes to attach the mount to the lid. He has also trimmed away a bit of the brim/edge to properly seat the mount. Jolly15
Four original holes? Could you post some pics of it if you could? I'm trying to mount mine but it's proving to be difficult.
msx361
Turn the anvis over and there are four screw holes on the back. What the guy has done is drilled 4 holes in the helmet and put screws into those threads. Other options are; taking it to bits and drill a hole through the backs and screw it striaght on the helmet, or grab an old sytle retention type nvg mount and use the rhino arm plate that mounts into that and glue/screw it to the anvis, or pay wilcox some more silly money for their mich/anvis adaptor. Jolly15
I thought about doing that four hole idea, but it seems difficult.

I say again, somebody in Asia needs to make a replica ANVIS mount and battery pack *cough-cough* Â @ Speed: cool gear and pics. May I suggest that you guise go with either woodland or MC? ACU really shows in woodland.
