You can find them here in the states fairly often at .gov auctions and on the GSA website... We actually still have one M-1008 and one M-1009 CUCV's at my unit

Things should have blown up long ago but still keep going strong

I don't have any pics of it being used in a game but I have brought my Sami out a few times...

You can see the rear seat in the back that we later mounted facing the rear for a trunk monkey

Wow, wish I had a BRDM-2 Amphibious Armored Patrol Car. I'll bet he actually got it at a fair price too.

Looks like you could pick one up for about $14K American that's not counting how much it would cost to ship and I'm sure you'd have to sink some money into for repairs and maintenance.

I didn't even know civilians could own such things. I once heard about a guy who managed to piece together an F-15 from buying various parts, and when the gov't. found out, they came and dismantled it.

I can imagine it now, two hundred thousand million bb's raining down on a field. They never stood a chance.

Fixed. :P

A US citizen can own an F-15 Jet. The government would not come a dismantle it.

I'm pretty sure you can't.

From what I recall, you can't own any current military aircraft.

Beyond that, you'd need to be rated for it before you could fly it an unless you were also a military pilot you're not gonna be able to do that.

The avionics would be restricted items and a modern jety is almost unflyable without them.

To put all this in perspective, enthusiasts still have a helluva job jumping through the required hoops to purchase an F4 phantom and fly it.

It's amazing what US citizens can own.

:)

And that's why I live here!

I figure you live there because that's where you were born.
