(1) CO2 is straightly NOT suitable for use with our regular M4 mags!! Our gas-charged mags are not designed to handle CO2, period.

(2) Our version of CO2 mag will be available VERY soon!! It'll be using the 12g CO2 capsule & has a pressure regulator to regulate the output pressure. :)

We were unable to test FPS and would rather not discuss our method and results in any further detail. That being said I feel the need to set the record straight once and for all. I have sent wraithxt1 a PM asking him to halt the personal attacks and resume the information and idea flow that this forum is for. I had reported earlier on in this thread about our failed experiment, at that time I intentionally left out all details of the experiment so as to not give any ideas to others who may copy what we did. As a long time airsoft enthusiast and former paintball player I know all too well the risks and dangers of pressurized gasses. Precautions were taken in the event of a failure and thus no one got hurt (other than the mag and my wallet). I HAVE NOT AND DO NOT ENDORSE CO2 USE IN ANY PRODUCT OR MACHINE WHICH DOES NOT INDICATE IT IS RATED FOR IT. Experimentation breeds innovation, If WE did not experiment we would not be lucky enough to have these great toys. I do apologize to those of you who are offended by this type of post (normally I am one of you) but felt the need to end this sidetrack once and for all. And now back to our regular programming.

On airsoft pacific forums, the seller AirsofAmmoSupply Mentioned that their new stock of WE m4's AFC ver, they got in on feb 27 will have

"This batch of guns are much improved over previous lots & many parts

& seals are strengthened even more than the original ver.2"

according to a WE rep.

Is this true?

or some bs to make people buy from him.

I just broke my second part # 42 (valve head) today. I have no idea why this is happening. I was wondering if anyone has ever gotten something custom milled by a CNC machine shop. I want to see if a local shop could make me one of these parts in some stronger material............I'm thinking stainless steal. What do you think something like this might cost? I know it wont be cheap. Any help would be much appreciated.

All understood. Thank you for clearing the air, my friend! :)

Out of curiosity, what sort of fps did you get without it?

Exact spec. will be available upon release. Max we've achieved in the factory is around 800fps (without damaging things :P ); however, please understand that the whole CO2 idea is not about extreme fps (even though that's an added bonus), but it is a more stable operating platform for all seasons. Another reason for it is the 12g CO2 capsules are a lot more readily-available (and in most cases, more economical) in certain market sectors than the green gas (e.g. in the U.S.).

Purely from a mil/LE training point-of-view, the CO2 capsule is by far a more convenient option for the troops to carry on the field.

that's not exactly true. we just use propane. its only a little more expensive than co2. but, capsules of co2 are much easier and safer to carry than a bottle of green gas or propane.

you think that when the MP5s start rolling out we will see a co2 mag for them too?

im such a ###### for mp5s.

who says the SCAR has the right specs?

that's what i mean .. often some manufacturers just take the guns from some other manufacturers and take their specs, not the real ones.

perhaps WETTI can tell us where they got all their specifications from? (especially MP5 and SCAR)

Do they have a real MP5 / SCAR and take all the measurements?

Did Heckler & Koch / FN give theme their blueprints?

Or are they orientating at some other replicas, some (reas steel) accessoires, and some pictures??

They could have gone to Colt (or any other AR maker), FN, & H&K asking for permission for the specs for training weapons based on those platforms. Either way, the WE M4 hasn't had any problems fitting Mil Spec parts to my knowledge.

Just Ordered my rifle today.

AFC v2 from Tokyo Model Company.

I'll let you guys know how it goes.

*crosses fingers for customs*

TMC does a great job.

They tape the trades first, then they putty over that. When you peel the black putty off, NOTHING is stuck in the trademarks. Comes of clean, mint.

Your customs will likely be LAX.......the worst and slowest customs. Dont panic if it is held for customs inspection for days (or weeks even). They suck but you will get it.

You will also receive both length inner barrels from TMC.

wow thanks for the very informative reply. that took some weight off my back.

They said they would be shipping TNT, so would that make diff about which side of country it comes in at?

is there a chance it will be here in a week?

^ TNT sucks but that is what they use. It will arrive through the west coast for sure. I am in Mass and it came through LAX. TNT hands the package over to UPS for the final delivery once it is released from customs. It >could< go through Portland or other major airports on the west, but it will still take longer than one week Im sure - no matter who handles customs.

Looking at the pic of the WE SCAR lower receiver, it looks like a black VFC, with the modular disassembly, same torx screws and the housing for the 2 prongs to connect the modular stock to the battery.

I dunno how accurat the VFC is though.

i've actually never bought a gun overseas before.

how likely/often is it that they will seize a rifle due to copyrighted trademark infringment.
