accuracy
oh lord. my charging handle snapped for the second time, even though i tried as hard as i could to baby this one. i feel terrible for asking tokyohobby again for another one, due to shipping costs and i already got one from them. I don't really have the cash to purchase another one either. Is there a parts dealer i could get it from in US? Seems that Horizon is down.
somegirls
get a "proper" one for about $40 and you'll never have to bother again.
Vila
I bought a Rock River charging handle, modded it per WE M4 wiki, and it hasn't failed me yet. Edited June 4, 2009 by Vila
mnmc10
i modded the stock we charging handle and its still intact. i just shaved a little bit of material so the bolt wont slam on the charging handle when firing.
Eliminator
www.parts4ar15.com have a complete charging handle for 25$(+ shipping) and it works perfectly on my WE without any mods
TrooperX
M4A1, CQB-R, M16A3, SCAR-L (tan or black) are available now. AK, MP5, SCAR-H will be coming soon. M249 SAW, UMP and Sig556 are possibilities down the road. M249!!! That will be one hell of a gas tank in the box mag!!! Would be pretty awesome and no disadvantage if used against hi-cappers Edited June 4, 2009 by TrooperX
bbstriker
oh lord. my charging handle snapped for the second time, even though i tried as hard as i could to baby this one. Mine went with the hot weather- the tip snapped while shooting. I've ordered the 7075 Aluminium version from Airsoft Buddy for $47 plus shipping. I assume this is the real deal strength! bbstriker
SCAR-L (tan or black) are available now. Where? I can't see any trace of a WE GBB Scar-L for sale anywhere. I'v actually got cash set aside to buy one.
Spartan452
does the scar's bolt go all the way back? or is it about 3/4ths of the way like the VFC?
rottenotto
This question is kinda stupid, but AGM M4? or WE? I've heard WE took the flaws the WA and AGM have, and took away most of them. The AGM is going to end up costing me about $350 anyways, and I've been told on some part like 155 or something needs to be replaced on it. That's it. With AGM I might need bolt face, NPAS, bolt stop, right? You heard wrong. WE has NOTHING to do with WA or its chinese made clone. As stated in a previous post theya re completely different animals. As for the AGM immediately requiring upgradeparts, yes that is true. It is junk plastic or weak pot metal in many critical areas. Plastic bolt face/nozzle wears out in no time - and it will be flattened IMMEDIATELY after one bb jam. Buffer is cheap plastic. (I mean really cheap). The hop chamber is plastic and works about as poorly as the gun it clones. The entire trigger mechanism is monkey metal. Just think of it as a stock WA with all the same problems (except a weak plastic body) that you bought for a good deal.......you'll need the savings to pay for all the needed upgrades. My grandfather always said, "You buy cheap, you buy twice".

HSOJGNILRAD
Accuracy, Evike does carry replacement handles for $15 but it is the same one that keeps snapping. If you are low on cash you could always go that rout.
Eliminator56
Does anyone know where to find a step by step guide to make the 480 fps nozzle have a 400ish fps?

To be fair you are asking that question on a thread all about the WE, where most of the WE users hang out, you're not going to get a fair answer. Also it really depends on what you are planning on using the rifle for? Main weapon, backup, a bit of fun etc. and also the weather where you are, site limits etc. Depending of what you plan to use it for really depends on what gun is right for you. Check out both reviews and see what both sets of users are saying before you make up your mind.

Like happy.al said read reviews and decide on Your own. There is another player entering GBB market KJ/Tania Koba M4A1 for good price from airsoftbuddy. You might consider this rifle as well Edited June 4, 2009 by Nazio
BrooklynBorn
Now that's what I'm talking about! I've been begging for a gas in the mag style GBB MP5 for years now Had a Maruzen MP5k that I put a PDW stock and suppressor on to make it a little bigger but the inability to run green gas reliably and the lack of a bolt stop killed it for me. Tried the Escort A-Spec MP5 but couldn't get over the external rig and wonky classic internals. If WE makes a GBB MP5 of any kind I'll buy it the day it's released! I'll be hoping for a navy trigger group with 3 round burst, but I suppose I that might be asking too much lol WELL made their Mp5K. Some of my friends said it was decent. It's only $95 shipped from EbayBanned To Nazio: I did in fact see the KJ video and the preorder on AB. However, I'm in the market for something soon, and by this is only preorder. By the time people order, get theirs, test it out, it'll be too late for me. And I have heard multiple good things about the WE, much better than the WA. I read somewhere the KJ is another WA clone, and so I'm expecting similar if not the same problems. Overall, I think The WE is my best bet. However i am last person to say WE is better than WA, beacuse i think such opinion is always based on subjective feelings of user. Friend of my asked me "why dont You buy AEG", and i've told him - I wont because i love WE GBB performance. HSOJGNILRAD
You know guys I bought my WE M4 back in December of last year a Version 1. Through all the headache and continuous upgrade parts I'm proud to say this gun is amazing. It has turned into a reliable consistent platform that just blows my mind when firing it. After working on 12 AEG's this week I looked over at my WE and picked her up and loaded a mag. I decided I was going to take a break from all the broken pistons, fried switches and installing mosfets to go fire my WE. After sending some rounds down the street I have come to conclusion that this gun with the 6.02 barrel with the right rubber is just as accurate as a highly upgraded AEG. I feel that since some of the new parts have started to roll in a lot of issues are getting resolved. I'm excited about the future of WE and all the new parts that will be rolling out this coming year. Thanks to WETTI and a lot of you guys on this thread this gun has turned the corner in less than six months of existence......think of the further progress we will see in the next six months. Looking back at all the issue I have encountered it has all been worth it to me......my WE M4 AWSS is the best weapon I own and over the six months I have been tinkering with it I have come to learn a lot about this gun. I cant speak for everyone but for me this journey was well worth it
3vi1-D4n
Its 11*C here atm, just that little reluctant to use the WE without CO2, mine is the old V1 without the CO2 compatibility so that can be a bit of an issue. But yeah mine is functioning well at the moment, cold weather performance is the only downside now. At 11*C It shot at 435fps initially but plateau'ed at 395fps on a 0.2g. accuracy
is this statement true? The lower the output nozzle, the more effect the hopup will have on the trajectory?
HSOJGNILRAD
is this statement true? The lower the output nozzle, the more effect the hopup will have on the trajectory? Accuracy I don't know if that is a fact but my bolt carrier that is set at 330fps seems to have less over hop than my 450 one. It actually shoots really accurate. The 450 has a little bit of a over hop but once I use the .30's it flattens.
