trinco
how about the recoil spring? should fit in just fine i think~
wolfsbane
any one heard of any third party parts for the WE like ambi selectors, etc? Â Â
Eliminator
I guess I got one of the more reliable WE M4 here...mine is fitted with some RS parts and accessories: RS Magpul MIAD, RS Magpul MOE Handguards, RS Stock with its buffer and RS Charging Handle(without any mod). I recently swiched to the steel nozzle(Wich I immediatly sanded and shortened by 0.2-0.5mm) and the TSC kit, on wich I only use the piston. My gun works really fine in SEMI(I never use AUTO), and shoots up to nearly 60 meters with Bioval 0.27g BBs

I finally took apart my nozzle assembly today and put in a 7mm bushing to lower the power. But when i test fired it it still is as powerful. Any other way to reduce power? Eliminator
At first the BBs where falling off the barrel...So I sanded the nozzle a bit shorter...when I finally noticed the Hop up was a bit too much lubbed...now I don't hace anymore BBs falling and the gun seems to be a bit more accurate

renegadecow
how about the recoil spring? should fit in just fine i think~ Recoil spring fits, and so does the buffer.
alston251
Does a magpul PTS grip for WA fit the WE? Â I know normal WA pistol grips don't. But the Magpul PTS pistol grip has a hole for the selector spring. Or whatever it's called.
ViciousV10s
Does a magpul PTS grip for WA fit the WE? I know normal WA pistol grips don't. But the Magpul PTS pistol grip has a hole for the selector spring. Or whatever it's called.  I have a Magpul PTS grip on my WE.
alston251
YAY thanks. Won't be wasting money then. Â Can you get rubberized version of the MOE with PTS? Â I know there's one for RS.
Andehpandeh
How many mags do people have for their gbbs? Planning on getting some more, but they're so expensive.
Eliminator
Expensive?just think about the WA ones...Personally I own 8 regular Gas mags and one CO2 mag, planning on buying a second one
accuracy
has any one had any experience with the new hopup rubbers besides alston yet? Â i'm wondering if they're worth 2 more extra bucks. Edited August 5, 2009 by accuracy
MadMax1818
there seems to be a few new lat parts on AB. some blue Aluminum parts and Stain Steel. Think these would be any good or just another waste of cash?
alston251
As i have heard on Hong Kong Airsoft forums the blue LAT piston head increases the power a bit. But i don't think it might be worth it. Â Don't think the floating valve would make any difference. It looks the same as the one stock. theprodigy
.30 at least......or heavier. .20 isnt even close to an option.  I use KSC perfect .30g and swear it is the BEST surface when used wih the new gen2 "two lip" hop rubber. CQB field i play at dont allow no heavier than .
theprodigy
Got some news here! Apparently there's a new hop up rubber created by WE and it is softer. Feels like TM type bucking.(apparently) Will get one if i can get the stuck screw off my rail.  Apparently you can use lighter BBs now.  New on left old on right Pic:  Update: Apparently 0.25 works nicely with it. welll that solves my current dilemma
kojak
Does a magpul PTS grip for WA fit the WE? I know normal WA pistol grips don't. But the Magpul PTS pistol grip has a hole for the selector spring. Or whatever it's called.  I bought a cheap Tango Down grip made for the WA and drilled the hole myself. Would have been a lot easier with a drill press and a clamp, but I just used a cordless drill and took my time.  I also somehow managed to fit a DBoys tear drop trigger guard, but it wasn't worth all the Dremeling. julietcharlie
Can anyone say that the TSC Hammer and sear are worth buying, my stock hammer, trigger and semi-sear are all worn the gun can still fire but double taps in semi and non-stop full auto. I got about 6000+ cycles to it I just wanna be sure that the TSC one will last longer than the WE parts.
alston251
Will the magpul MOE polymer trigger guard fit?
Eliminator
Dunno if this helps, but the trigger guard that is in the MIAD full kit fits fine
wolfsbane
just installed the 90% buffer spring from airsoftbuddy (its a TSC i think?) Â Works great! I installed the adjustable rod to bring the FPS down and noticed a significant drop in recoil but now with the new spring installed the blowback strength is back to normal. Only thing is there is a spring twangy sound at the end of each shot as the new spring is shorter than the original. The new spring is softer and shorter. I will probably get use to the twangy sound after a while and is a small price to pay for a better recoil. Â Am also going to attempt to make an ambi selector... any suggestions as to how? Eliminator
@ Wetti: when do you plan to send the invits? Â Wolf: I still have the same recoil as with the original rod, the only thing you need on the TSC is to sand it a bit and it'll works great with the stock spring
alston251
I used my WE M4 on a skirmish today. And somehow it just died. I just too it apart and found out that the floating valve is not really floating. It doesn't move. When i shoot it vents all my gas out and doesn't fire a thing. How can i fix this??? Where were barely any blowback too. Edited August 7, 2009 by alston251
slu
DYTAC STANDALONE UPPERS! CNC'd ALU!!1 Â I am now jealous of you WEM4 folk. Why can't WAM4 get standalone uppers? Edited August 7, 2009 by slu
