Hehehe, Im with you Hwagan. I dumped my LM4 like a bad habit a few months ago and switched back to the WE platform. Used the extra money to get myself a trademarked M16, slapped a RS A2 upper receiver

Ok, I see.

Thats just the result of a sucko hop unit.

Made worse by constant "wetting" from the gas mixture. GBB rifles run dirty, no way around it. Cant wait for CO2. It isnt clean like HPA, but will be better than propane gas and silicone.

And we will see if TS Ones new hopup is any good. Has to be better.

Yup renegadecow said it all. Spot on on the half moon scar thing. I believe that's the major cause for the erratic flights. I'm using dry propane too. I don't think it's the hop rubber that's hurting the bbs since it's well... rubber. I would say the nozzle tip is the main culprit. Perhaps a brass nozzle lined with a softer material would work better? The nozzle rounding technique won't work, the brass tip works just too fast and hard on the relatively soft bbs.

I get about 1 shot totally lacking power in about 6-7 shots too. I'm suspecting my bolt valve seals are dry and "sticky"?

My charging handle also has come to its eventful end last week despite being uber careful when racking. I was told by a local airsmith to just glue it back together with steel filled epoxy as it did wonders with theirs. I tried it and about 3 mags and over 50 racks later it broke again. It seems the epoxy just isn't enough so I drilled out a long narrow hole, filled it with more epoxy and inserted a thin screw with the head nearer the handle as an anchor. Its worked for a week now and over 500 rounds fired. Hopefully this holds well enough until the reinforced handle comes out as none of the stores that have real steel handles seem to ship to my location.

The rounded recess at the end is for the carrier key. Clean and roughen surfaces to be bonded before applying adhesive.

I've took some photos tonight about the steel nozzle assembly for WE Gas Blow Back M4. Actually this kit have 2 powers for you to choose. 300fps version and 480fps version. Only the nozzle made in steel. Please refer to the following link for both power versions.

And these 2 items are now available at our store now.

Are all the ordering issues with AB resloved now?

Airsoft buddy would you like to comment? I would really like to order 2 - 3 items from you but I heard there were some issues with communication and delayed shipping. I never heard if there was any resolution.

I am not trying to muddy your name as I have the utmost respect for the support and information you have provided to this thread and this gun but I would like to know my parts would arrive in a timely fashion without worrying if I should have ordered from elsewhere.

Regards,

mh, good question since a good friend of mine wants to buy one WE M4 and I need some spare parts (and the steel nozzles :D ) for myself..

..until those problems with AB began I'd would have told my friend to buy only @ AB and nowhere else because of the good service ( I bought my own M4 @ AB ) .. now I'm not quite sure :/

The new design hop-up with barrel is now available to comes with all the WE GBB M4. For standalone item, then we may need a bit while.

I think mine may be one of first with this new hop up as my shots are firing nice and straight up to almost 200ft with .25g BB's.

nah, there really isnt any straight up versions. they have gone through many little changes material wase. right now, the AFC custom "version 2" has a steel bot catch, 350fps nozzle and trades. those were the voiced changes.

when the barrel and reinforced charging handle come out, that will be the "version 3"

Absolutely not even possible.

There is a huge difference between this Escort copy loading nozzle (blunt/thick/brass) and say, a KSC Mac-11, or Pegasus loading nozzle (thin/razor sharp/aluminum).

This loading nozzle isnt scarring bb's. It couldnt. It would smash it to pieces before scarring it. (which I have proven) Just look at your loading nozzle, it is wide and blunt. Nothing like most other gas systems/nozzles.

The erratic flight is >mostly< the cause of a craptastic hopup design. Well documented and the reason TS-one/WE is trying to do something better.

New slightly better hopup design coming soon.

Everything about the PRESENT hopup sucks.

The material is the wrong durometer, especially for a gun firing 500 fps (!!) It is grippy, inconsistent silicone (not rubber).

Also its shape sucks.....it is a tiny "microdot" that touches the bb. Rather than a speedbump shaped AEG style hop. The bb will either touch the "dot" head on (2% of the time) or go left and right of it - creating "hook".

Take that and make it worse by a dirty and wet (even with NO silicone added) propulsion system. GBB rifles will never be as accurate as an AEG, especially on full auto. Thats life.

The thrill of blowback and noise overides the negatives. But still, inconsistency remains as the one reason why "GBB rifles" hve been more "collector pieces" than "tools in the field".

This gun is the best yet, but far from perfect. We are all working on it,

unless you hook up a compressed air rig.
