Yeah man, we pretty much get it. There's no need to post 20 times about how bad your KJW is. Now, can you please go ahead and delete your account?

News Update: We are back to working on our KJW BCGs. I think we should have a production level prototype finished within the next 10 days so keep your eyes peeled. For those who may have missed th

Ok quick hop guide, excuse the quality of the photo's. I had to remove some of the shrink wrap on mine as it was over hopping 0.25's with the hop off.

First remove the upper and bolt assembly, then the hand guards and flash hider (small allen screw). Then knock out these two pins

Slide the front sight off and remove the gas tube (slide out). Next remove the barrel nut with the supplied tool

Slide off the barrel assembly, then flip over and remove this screw and the hop dial

Remove this screw (obscured by flash sorry)

Remove the part that secures the hop arm should just drop out

Part shown removed with hop arm held in correct place. Make sure your wrapped arm swings freely through the part that holds it.

To reassemble simply reverse the procedure. If you keep the upper upside down the hop spring should remain in place.

Hope this helps.

Will it be something H shaped? :P

I doubt it.

The way the KJW Hop up bucking works is by applying pressure evenly across the ball that is molded on the hopup bucking. An H or V or "SCS" type shape would probably not work because of the hardness and design of this bucking.

Correct me if I am wrong.

For anyone who was interested in the metal uppers, I'll have a price shipped to the US within a few days, for anyone who missed that post, PM me and I will write you down for a quote.

T_Hum,

What about an Improved hopup wheel to allow finer adjustments? Possibly a few more steps instead of just 6..

Any more information on that plastic upper yet? How easy was it to install everything? How well is it holding up / how does it look on the rifle?

I want to know if it is worth it to build my full second upper with a plastic upper, so I can just swap my bolt back and forth for my different gats!
