Shadow_Ocelot
Has anyone figured out how Ehobby mounted the Magpul ASAP on the EAC KJ M4s? Did they mill out a PTS, or is it the RS? I feel like the RS would be too wide.
Leshy
Knowing Ehobby it probably wasnt anything fancier than a lick from a file, they used the Systema version of the ASAP. I'm planning to get one shouldnt be too hard to fit it.

Trickz
after upgrading with t hum parts the guns performance enhanced extremely, the parts where all properly installed. The only problem is that after 5-6 magazines the plastic part of the slider doesnt move back and feed bb's. I tried everything and couldn't fix the problem, does anyone have experience with this sort of problem??? Â thx Edited May 9, 2011 by Trickz

_Samuel_
Sorry if you guys have already answered this, but I was wondering would the following foregrip be a good one to get for the KJW M4 and is this a real steel / military specification foregrip? Â Link: http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=27228 Â Also, does an electronic sight help you get on target faster and if it does is it even worth the cost? Â Finally, would I need a TDC mod for greater accuracy for the KJW M4 if I got a 6.01mm barrel and what would be a good setup for face protection that I could buy from Airsplat? PapayaSalad
Samuel, can you please keep your posts on topic? There's plenty of threads/sections for gear and/or accessories all over arnies. Do some searching instead constantly asking people to spoon-feed you information.

maynardjay
Hello all, I purchased my kjw used and it did not come with the barrel tool. Have any of you found a way to remove the barrel nut without the tool? Do you know where I can find the tool? Thanks.
frogfish
A standard armorers wrench will work, you can get them in any decent gun store, at gunshows, or on amazon for anywhere from $15-$120. Edited May 13, 2011 by frogfish

TDC mod is a pyramid scheme. Â best face protection is to close your eyes and not smile.

DiscoBiscuit
Wondering if the KJW's are still updated (improved) every once in a while by the manufacturer. I remember T-HUM saying he had noticed some revisions. I was waiting to see if a different and potentially as reliable system would be released by another manufacturer but it seems more and more likely that this is not going to happen. Â Raven1 had mentioned that KJW was working on beefing up a few spots on the receivers but Im not sure if those happened or not. Seems to me like that is one of the very few problems left with the gun. Id like to see a revised hop configuration as well but that is probably unlikely.
Trickz
I have a problem with 1 mag, the spring sometimes gets stuck and doesnt push the bbs up so there is a lack of feed problem. Â took it apart siliconed it, straightend the spring (which was a wreck) yet it still happens from time to time, this normal?
t_hum
I wouldn't say so. Is your gun serialized and is this the original mag that came with the gun? Could be a weak follower spring or unusually tight feed lips otherwise.
_Samuel_
Well, KJW needs to tighten quality control since I was lucky enough to get a faulty KJW M4. Â To theprodigy: Â How could a vertical foregrip cause the BBs to drop down faster? Also, I don't think electronic sight is worth the money for the little advantage you get in airsoft. How is the TDC mod a pyramid scheme? Â Well, I don't think I would be able to aim too well with my eyes closed. Edited May 15, 2011 by _Samuel_
