Paul202
Okay, I am heavily considering buying his gun for Christmas. For US citizens, what would the best/cheapest retailer to buy from be?
Landa
Airsplat, dont forget the codes, ill be even cheaper.
Paul202
Airsplat, dont forget the codes, ill be even cheaper. Well I checked Airsplat, and they are out of stock. Are there any other (preferably US) retailer that carry this gun? Also, I could've sworn that when Airsplat had them in stock, they were $300. Is it just me?
Paul202
Also is it better to buy the V1 or V2? I heard the V1 was more accurate or so,eating like that, but I don't want to drop $400 and find out I'm wrong.
frogfish
Good luck finding a v1 at a retailer.

I heard the V1 was more accurate or so,eating like that, but I don't want to drop $400 and find out I'm wrong. Â There's no difference in accuracy between the versions. It's more a matter of the superiority of the v1 bolt group vs the v2. But the Cradle bcg will solve all of those problems once it's released... Hut73
Btw, there's a slightly upgraded v2 on eBay, which is always a good place to look for KJW GBBR's for sale... delarosa
Got a prob with my g&p DD ras a moment ago. So I put the ring and the outer barrel in place, screw the barrel nut right in and finally it stopped, but the ring still wobble, its like theres still a gap between the ring and the barrel nut, Im confused, anyone experience this? It also happened to my KA ras, it wont screw in to the last thread on my upper v2.

It also happened to my KA ras, it wont screw in to the last thread on my upper v2. Â If I understand your issue correctly, I had a similar one w/ a second hand KJW I bought that came w/ a Madbull Mk18 DD RAS. Â My solution to the problem was to place a rubber o-ring in between the two to close the gap. The rubber material was dense enough to provide the necessary force to eliminate the wobble, yet pliable enough to properly tighten everything down... Â Hope I was right in my assumption of your problem! Â Sent from my totally sexy, Android powered, IPod killing, Samsung Galaxy S3 ;-) Â Â
Landa
i had the EXACT same problem, as i also had a madbull (well, china clone) DD and a G&P nut... and i also did the same as hut.. Â i had a bunch of #14 o rings from my AEG days, they are a bit small so i cut 2/3 of two and put them around the barrel after screwing the nut. Then came in the RIS, so when i tightened the six screws they pressed on the rubber "spacers". Â It was more than perfect when i was done... The reason for this problem is the G&P nut is thinner than the AEG one.... end result and more pr0n: Â Edited December 7, 2012 by Landa
delarosa
Ah ic then, thanks guys, was thinking of getting a thin copper cable to put in between as it is hard yet quite soft outside. I'll report on how it goes later on. Was going to ask how to put the 2 lower nut as it bumps with my lower receiver, truns out I need to screw it from outside in, was frustrated there lol. weekenny
So long as the barrel is held solid by the barrel nut you'll be fine the mount ring for the DD rail should be loose until you clamp on the rail the whole thing will then be solid as the rail and mount ring sandwich the barrel nut. weekenny
Constantly surprised and impressed by these rifles my team mate was able to full auto mag dump at the end of a night game last night (after midnight) in below freezing temperatures. Nice coating of frost on the mags after.
Theme57
Hey everyone sorry for being MIA for a while, (no one cares). Â A friend of mine isnt able to use auto and the hook on the right side of his valve knocker broke off. He can put the selector on Auto, but is unable to pull the trigger. I suspect its something with his auto sear, but we are at a distance so its pretty difficult to troubleshoot.
