The rear pin coming out was the "first" thing that happened to me upon moments of taking the M4 out of the box. I never opened a M4 before so I wanted to open it right away.

I use a small flat head screwdriver (a little bigger than ones you use for glasses) and insert from the left hole to push back the detent. Then you can easily insert the body pin. Takes less than minute.

When disassembling, I use a hammer and a wooden chopstick, lightly tap the rear body pin while the gun rests on my legs. Once the pin is halfway out, I lift up the gun, holding the top and bottom receiver together, and carefully pull the body pin out the rest of the way. You probably know this, but the top and bottom receiver are held together very tightly, which makes the pins a little difficult to pull out sometimes. (which is why no body wobble)

Oh, and the G&P rail system. I mentioned this before but it's a few pages back so you might've missed it. You would want to remove or file the rear latch (inside the rail) because the M4 gas tube is wider than the latch.

Yeah man, we pretty much get it. There's no need to post 20 times about how bad your KJW is. Now, can you please go ahead and delete your account?

News Update: We are back to working on our KJW BCGs. I think we should have a production level prototype finished within the next 10 days so keep your eyes peeled. For those who may have missed th

When the pin comes out on me I hold the pin at a 45-30 degree angle to the hole and depress the detent slightly with the end of the pin. Once I get it slightly depressed I rotate the pin to be cocentric with the hole and push it in. Takes 3 seconds.

Also to note, the pins can be hard to get in and out UNLESS you squeeze the upper and lower together slightly. If you squeeze they come out much easier and often without tools.

I suppose if tolerances are off a bit your results may vary. But Im positive this works on Raven1's gun as we have used it extensively for testing. Im waiting for WGC to get them back in stock so I can order my own, finally.

Saw your note.. thanks it was useful. I filed the rear piece down a little so it would fit in. works okay but takes some elbow grease.

Did any one else also run into the problem with some outer barrel wobble? I ended up just removing my gas tube and really tightening down the delta ring assembly (the exact name of that threaded part is slipping my mind at the current moment...)

I hope the lack of gas tube won't cause the G&P KAC rails to shift left and right.

Thoughts?

Constructed from aluminum, replace your stock outer barrel with this enhanced 1 piece aluminum barrel from Tactical Specialist Custom. Suitable for use with the WE M4 Only.

no it will not fit kj m4

Does anyone know if this will work with the KJW. http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airs...il?prodID=27653

Sorry if its a newb question. Also, can i add Daniel defense RIS or noveske with no modification.

I found out the use for the rubber band.

The rubber band ensures that the nozzle does not get left stuck in the nozzle. It protects the nozzle's return spring from going past its capabilities.

The only thing though is that the rubber band prevents the gun from venting excess pressure as the band keeps the nozzle from moving farther away from the piston. As a result, the piston cup is forced to mushroom back. I believe this is what causes the piston cup to get deformed.

Even though people believe it to be green gas ready. I do believe that it was still made to be used for 134a.. At least the design is for use with 134a gas despite the fact that the materials used tolerate the prolonged use of green gas.

A longer rubber band would allow for excess pressure to be released and delay the deformation of the piston cup (or just replace it with t_hum's piston)

With that said...yeap, I received mine today

how'd you manage to install a sling attachment? do i need to buy one made for AEGs or for GBBs?

It is a clamp on design for Real Steel Buffer tubes. The one pictured is the DD EZ sling mount. Im not sure if AEG ones can be used, but AEG stocks seem to work on the gun. I dont see why not. Also, I put a small strip of condura under it and tightened to make sure it stayed as after a while, it started to wobble. It is solid as a rock now.

Me!

I'm also waiting on your fps adjuster, and piston assembly ;)

:) I'm hoping tomorrow Ill have the site up for sure. Pistons are done, velocity reducers have a few more tests to get done tomorrow in the a.m. Packaging is done. Website is done today. Instructions have a few illustrations to get done. It sounds like a lot but honestly it's all doable by the end of tomorrow.

I appreciate your patience. The extra time has allowed me to make sure all orders are filled quickly and I don't lose track of anyone. Also, it will eliminate miscommunication regarding orders.

I am open to product suggestions guys. Just PM me if you have something you would love to see. If its doable and economically viable it will be thoroughly considered.

I really hope you don't run out of these before I can place my order. That would really stink. Whats the url for the website?

You should attempt a VLTOR reciever (MUR Upper with VLTOR Lower). That would be pretty awesome.

What would be even more classy than that would be perfect replications of the Colt trades on a new lower. I would be ALL over that. Even better, just offer it as a Colt Upper/Low set and have it be forged.

All the parts are made here in house. If I'm out of stock on something, I will make it on the spot. I won't ever really be "out of stock" technically.

As far as receivers go there is a lot of legal stuff to deal with once you start getting into trademarks and licensing. Im not quite at that point yet. Im really trying to judge demand and get some technical stuff figured out to determine if its worth my while to do the research into licensing and production, as forging isn't something I'm doing here in house. I need to subcontract that kind of work out (to a local machine shop mind you, so still made in the USA).

wdahm519 - Mine, and I suspect a few people's delta ring/barrel nut has a little play. Mine can turn a few cms left and right, as far as the gas tube permits. It isn't noticable unless you fiddle the delta ring. My outer barrel doesn't have play though.

I would like a lower receiver with authentic Colt trademark. Then my gun is complete =)

Got my KJW M4 from uncompany. There were no serial numbers on the gun. Came with a metal recoil buffer. The upper receiver tab was not cracked out of the box )which was a good thing).

The gun cycles pretty good.

I was curious how come the Japanese version of the gun came with a 38 round magazine. Where as the KJ came with a 30 round mag. So, I tried to stick in more than 30 rounds into the magazine.

I successfully managed to insert 38 rounds. I have not tried putting more though. If you guys want to try...go for it. As for me. The 8 extra rounds that I found out fits in the mag works well enough :P That's 26% more bb capacity than what people normally ran their mags with

The magazine is indeed a 38 round mag. Not a 30 round mag as advertised.

The barrel nut was not tightened very well on mine. I had to take the tool supplied by KJ and tightened it after inspecting the system.

I took note of people's upper receiver tab breaking so I tightened the delta ring assembly with the upper receiver taken out of the lower receiver then held on to the carry handle to get better torque. The gun is solid. Zero wobbles.

-----------------------

Cause I'm a shorter fella, I tend to have the stock all the way collapsed. I am most comfortable holding the rifle this way. My solution for having a single point attachment ( which could also ease the stress on the tabs) was to wing it....paracord

I was just thinking about the barrels... lol; I so want a silver barrel (I like contrast).

1.)Front Sight / Gas Block in different variations.

2.)Butt stock Tube (Silver).

3.)Barrels 14mm CCW/CW.

4.)Forged Receivers.

5.)Flash-hiders / Muzzle.

6.)Mock silencers. <--- probably need some permit for this though...

7.)Easy Mag Carrier

8.)Certainly need to stock O-rings (dUuurrr right?)

One I get into having a KJW, I'll certainly get a forged receiver off of you.

Now remember, we'll definitely get the word out, since so many people are trying to find negatives on the KJW it's absurd... that we need to offer them replacement parts that are cost worthy.
